She squirmed.
She whimpered.
She shoved.
She kicked.
But Sasuke did not budge.
After what seems like hours, Sakura's faint voice disappeared. Sasuke immediately drew back. Ai cupped her red cheeks and asked him in a shaky voice.
"Y-You have a girlfriend, why d-did you k-kiss me?"
"Because you won't stop talking." Sasuke snapped. "Great. The party is already starting.
Ai smoothed her creased dress and made a move to a door. Sasuke grabbed her arm and forced her back.
"Aren't you gonna thank me?" he whispered into her ear, sending chills run down her spine.
"F-For wh-what?" she squeaked. Sasuke pressed himself against her.
"For saving you from hell."
He hot breath tickled her cheek, causing her to turn bright pink.
Then Sasuke did something unexpected.
"EEEEP! WH-WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" she exclaimed as Sasuke nipped on her ear.
He smirked incredulously. "Let's get going."
They slipped out of the closet and took deep breaths. Gaara was there, still waiting for her. Ai bit her lip. Sasuke whistled and walked away, hands in his pockets.
"Um, Ga-Gaara?" He spun around and sighed with relief.
"You're alright..."
"Y-You're not mad at m-me?"
"It's okay, Ai. Shall we go inside?"
She nodded. They entered the music room. Gaara bent down and tapped on a tile. It shook and slided open.
"Gaara? C'mon in, man!" a boy said, grinning. He eyed Ai. "Damn, she's your date?"
He asked. Gaara just nodded and walked past him, Ai shyly following him.
People were dancing. Guys were in tuxedos. Girls were in gowns.
This is one party.
"You got your Dawn's Mirage tickets?" two girls hopped over.
"Y-Yes." Gaara gave his while Ai dug in her purse for the ticket. Finally finding the purple ticket, she hand it to the brunette.
"I'm sure you know us." the blonde winked. "I'm Kumiai! Kumiai Shinwa No!"
"I'm Tsurara! Tsurara Yugure!"
They both spun and spread their arms out simultaneously as if they were saying TADA!
"Y-You are the No. 1# fans of D-Dawn's Mirage?"
"YUP!" they replied in unison.
"Stop saying what I'm saying, Tsurara/Kumiai!" they said again.
"HEY!"
"HEY!"
"STOP IT!"
"STOP IT!"
The girls kept on yelling at the same time. Ai sweatdropped. "Th-They're like twins..."
"Yet," Gaara spoke. "They look completely different."
Ai giggled. "Right."
She looked behind Gaara. She froze.
