She have to say, their Ninja skills were impressive. Though, she felt upset for she wasn't able to do any of those. Later on, matches started and finished and Ai was most awed by Sasuke's performance.
It made her feel like an ant comparing to his strength.
Sasuke was given the Chunin level after his match.
"NEXT, MOYASU KONPEKI V.S . . . AI YOKOSHIMANA!!"
Ai blinked. "Wh . . . what?"
A girl with neon pink dyed hair and blue eyes jumped down into the court with a smirk.
"B-But-"
"AI YOKOSHIMANA! PLEASE GET DOWN TO THE COURT!" Tsunade said loudly. Grudgingly, she carefully went down the stairs and into the court and glanced around the baffled students.
"Heh. This is gonna be easy," Moyasu cracked her knuckles. "Beating a Chakra-less girl will be a piece of cake."
"Go Moyasu!" a mob of girls and boys shrieked.
"START!"
Moyasu, being a impatient one, launched at Ai head first. "HEXAGONAL CAGE!"
There was a loud crash as Ai found herself trapped in a cage shaped like a hexagonal.
Ai gulped and backed away, not bothering to try and break out.
Suddenly, cobras started crawling around the cage. Ai's stomach dropped to her feet and she stared at them with fear.
"She's going to lose for sure. No way she can match up to Moyasu's strength." the Konpeki girl's teammate whispered to one another.
The cobras leapt at Ai, wrapping themselves around her figure. A large one was around her neck while the smaller ones were trapping her legs and arms. The snake hissed into her ear. But then, its eyes widened. It coiled away from her neck and hissed softly.
"What the . . . what is he doing?" Moyasu murmured, face twisting with calm wroth. "ATTACK HER, BOY, NOW!"
The cobra ignored her and crept away then disappearing in a puffs of clouds. The smaller ones sank into the ground.
"WHAT THE HELL?" Moyasu exclaimed. "Double Black Dragon Blizzard!"
Once Ai saw the humongous dragon, she did the most normal thing a non-Shinobi would do in a situation like this.
She ran for her life.
The dragon chased her around the sparring court. Moyasu laughed.
"What a wimp." she smirked.
Ai snapped. "GO AWAY!"
She screamed and ducked as if someone threw something at her. The dragon, who was about to pounce on her just when she was about to duck, collided into the wall, crumbling it in result.
"Why didn't you die?" Moyasu screeched.
Ai put her hand on the wall, trying hard to regain her breath. She panted then fell to her knees.
"ENOUGH!" Tsunade yelled. "Moyasu Konpeki, you are Chunin level now."
She glanced at Ai. "Ai Yokoshimana, you're a Chunin too."
Almost the entire student body couldn't take it.
"What?"
"She didn't even land a scratch on Moyasu!"
"That's absurd!"
"EVERYONE BE QUIET!" Tsunade said, ticked off. "Ai, are you alright? Do you need to see the nurse?"
"Uh, I'm o-"
"Yes, you should go see the nurse." Tsunade cut her off. "Kurenai, can you take her to the clinic?"
Kurenai is a fairly tall and light-skinned woman of slender build. She has long, black, shoulder-length untamed hair, and very unique eyes that are red in colour, with an additional ring in them. She wears make-up consisting of red lipstick and purple eye shadow. She was attired in a simple white and red sweater and long white jeans with red pockets on the hips and the sides.
She nodded and motioned Ai to the back of the court. Ai looked down at herself. She seemed fine. She followed Kurenai inside the small clinic sundered from the court.
"Hi, I'm Kurenai Yuhi, call me Kurenai-sensei, I teach Social Studies," she smiled kindly. "Sakura will be here in a minute. She's the nurse. See you later."
She left. Ai sat on the tiny clinic bed until a high voice called out.
"Are you Ai Yokoshimana?"
She jumped. There Sakura was.
She has bright pink hair, large green eyes, and fair skin. She has a rather large forehead but Ai can see that she wasn't trying to cover it up. Sakura wore a red see-through tank top with circular designs. She also wore tight dark green shorts. Pallid pink lip gloss applied on her lips and loopy pink earrings dangling down her ears.
It didn't look something Ai would choose for a raiment or any other people but it wasn't that appropriate. Ai kept her mouth sealed anyway.
"You look okay to me." she scoffed. "I'm Sakura Haruno. The school nurse." she flipped her hair over her shoulder.
Ai nodded uncertainly. "Hi . . . "
"Whatever. Ino!" she called, looking at the back of the clinic. "Let's go watch the matches!"
A girl with a long sheet of platinum blonde hair tied into a high ponytail appeared. She has pale blue eyes and fair skin like Sakura, her lips curled into an ugly scowl. She wore a lavendar purple ribbed top and a dark purple skirt above her knees. She didn't look any better than Sakura but who was Ai to anything?
"Well, well, well," she said in a mocking tone. "Who is that?"
