Battle For A Blossom's Love

Chapter 4

Sakura woke early in the morning and the first thing she did was go into the bathroom. She was grateful she had her own personal bathroom. She got a shower and got dressed in a red shirt with the Haruno crest on the back, a black pair of loose fitting fabric pants, and her normal gloves and boots. She remember passing the living room and decided to see if Deidara was there. She wanted to see about getting things for her room and herself, things like clothes and paint for the walls.

Deidara was watching Hidan, Kakuzu and Sasori play cards. Sakura walked up to them and watched the game with him. Hidan was losing and Sasori was winning. Deidara smiled at her and Sakura just stared back. She looked over to the couch and saw Itachi reading.

He nodded at her as he looked up from his book and then she turned back to the game. It was now over and Sasori had won. Hidan looked pissed and Kakuzu looked like he could care less that he lost, if you didn't see his fists clenching and unclenching that is. Deidara was watching Hidan in amusement as he cussed at Sasori. Sakura just looked indifferent as she waited for Deidara to get up.

"I've got a question Deidara-san," she said to him getting impatient.

He smiled and stood up from his chair.

"What is it Sakura-san, hmm?" he asked as he stood beside her.

"Will you go to the village with me? Nagato-sama said I needed someone to go with me since I am new and I wanted to get a few things for my room and myself."

"All right, un. I'd be happy to go with you, hmm."

"Arigato Deidara-san," she said with a slight bow in gratitude. "We need to go tell Nagato-sama though so come on please."

He nodded and followed Sakura out the door. She walked down the hall with Deidara behind her in silence. We got to the door and Sakura knocked. They entered hearing a grunt of acknowledgement.

"Nagato-sama, Yahiko-sama..." Sakura said as she and Deidara bowed to them. "Deidara-san has agreed to go with me to the village."

"All right then Sakura, protect her Deidara, not that she needs it though..." Nagato said with a smirk at Sakura.

"Hai Nagato-sama," Deidara said with a smile.

They both bowed to them and headed out the door and the base with Deidara leading.  They made it to a small village. They took off their cloaks and Deidara let his hair down. He had a tight fitting black mesh shirt under a tight fitting black half tank top and his regular pants on.

'Ayah, he looks so hot like that!' Inner squealed to Sakura.

She sighed mentally at her squealing.

'Of course you would say that Inner...' Sakura said to her.

'Come on Saku! You have to admit it!'

'Inner, when I said I didn't care before I really meant I didn't care anymore. I have gone completely numb to everything. I only feel sadness now.'

Inner sighed. Sakura just shrugged at her. She put a red ribbon in her hair to tie her long hair back. It was back to its old length now and was down to her waist. When tied back it looked like Ino's hair except her bangs framed her face. They walked into the village and went to the nearest store.

Sakura got everything she wanted and needed which included red blankets, new clothes, red and white paint, and a few personal items like a few books and some new equipment for medical purposes. She paid for it then they decided to go get something to eat. They found a small restaurant and after a few minutes of waiting a waiter walked up to get their orders.
