"i- i, uh, i like jaeden, and i needed to tell someone. promise you won't tell anyone?" i whispered to finn as we walked a few feet behind the rest of the group.
"i don't even need to tell anyone. trust me, everyone already knows. well, except for jaeden. i don't get how he can be so oblivious to everything that's going on," finn said, laughing.
"you're the first person i've told, finn. nobody else knows," i said, disagreeing with him. i've managed to keep my slight crush on jaeden a secret. well that's what i thought, at least.
"trust me, we all know. as a matter of fact, we've been waiting for the day you'd finally tell us. it's not that much of a secret, wyatt," finn said, patting my back and laughing again. were my feelings for jaeden really that obvious?
i sighed, walking a little faster to join the rest of the group. i didn't want to talk about it anymore. "you can't keep it a secret forever," finn said, catching up to me.
"keep what a secret?" jaeden said as he turned around.
"his love for you," finn shouted as he walked back to me. "see, it's not that hard to do you dimwit," he said, pushing me.
