It's been two days, two days we found out about Noah and that means today is the day we're picking him up.

Liam is at Robby's so he's not seeing him today.

"Kayla come on" I step off the bed and grab my phone walking passed my mom.

They brought Noah's stuff here already. The guest room turned into Noah's room.
I go down stairs into the kitchen grabbing a small bag of chips and walk out to the car.

My mom soon gets in with a smile on her face, you can tell how excited she was. I felt guilty that I wasn't looking forward to this.

"Noah is gonna be really excited to see you" I roll my eyes and look out the window rolling it down half way.

"You've met him?" I ask, I roll my eyes and sigh.

"Well, yeah. He's always wanted a younger sister. Like, always" I smile a bit.

"Really?" she nods and takes a glance at me then back at the road.

"Yes. You should've seen how excited he looked when I told him about you" I look down and smile a little.

"Please, I know you don't want this but Kayla. Once I saw him and got to know him, Kayla I wouldn't live a day without guilt-"

"K, I get it" She sighs and rolls her eyes. I look back out the window and took a deep breath seeing the building.

"Ready?" I shook my head and got out of the car as my mom parked.

"Sit in the back with him when we leave" I ignored her and felt my heart beat quicker as we stepped in.

"Is he ready?" my mom asked the lady at the desk. She smiles widely and nods walking into a hall.

"I'm scared" My mom chuckles making me roll my eyes. This felt wrong.

"Here he is" I hid behind my mom and looked away. My mom makes this happy weird sound and hugs Noah tightly.

I'll admit he was very good looking, muscular and tall. He smiles weakly and looks around.

"She's right here" My mom moves her hand towards me. He looks down and smiles widely.

I give him a weak smile and open my arms out. He puts his bag down and bends down opening his arms.

I embrace them and chuckle hugging him.

"Welcome to the family" I whisper, he chuckles and holds me tightly.

"Thank you" we pull away and look at my mom who was recording us. I roll my eyes playfully and walk next to him as we walked to the car.

The car was awkward silence but my mom broke it with her many questions.

"Like it so far?" I ask, walking in his room staring at him as he was on his phone.

"Yeah, it's nice. Don't you have a younger brother?" I smile and nod.

"Yeah, he's spending the night at his friends house" He nod with a small smile.

"Hey honey. Doctor said you need to take these" I stare at the pills in my moms hand.

Noah awkwardly took them and put them in his mouth then sipping his water.

"W-what are those for?" my mom glares at me then walks out.

"I have ADHD" I make an 'o' shape with my lips and put my hand on my knee.

"It's okay" he smiles and shrugs looking down a bit.

Welcome Home Noah.
