After spending a couple of hours with Barry, Cisco and Caitlin I learnt that Cisco had a brother that he didn't really speak to, Caitlin had lost her fiancé in the particle accelerator explosion and Barry had a huge crush on Iris, but she was dating her dads work partner, Eddie Thawne.
I got home and stashed away my money in my secret hiding place. It is actually really good. I have a secret compartment in my wall that can only be opened by my had print and voice recognition. When I opened the secret compartment up I saw a picture of me and Crystal that we took on the last day of school, before we broke up for the holidays.
" I can't believe it's the last day of school. I'm so excited to go on holiday." Crystal exclaimed as she skipped to the library. "Yeah me too." I mumbled. It would be the first time I've been on holiday since my parents and brothers deaths. "Hey Mal, are you ok?" Crystal asked with concern all over her face. "Yeah, yeah I'm fine it's just still a bit hard thats all." I replied trying to hold back the tears but failed to do so as a couple tear drops rolled down my cheeks. "Aww Mal. I know but I'm here for you. Always. I promise." I smiled at her and sat down at a computer.
The rest of the day went by slowly. When we got home me and Crystal went to my room and spoke for hours about how I miss my parents and brother, how grateful I am that Jake and Lucy let me stay and how happy I am that I have her. "I will never leave you Mal. I promise that I will always be here for you no matter what, even if I'm on my death bed, and that if you ever need anything, a shoulder to cry on, some where to stay, even when we're older and you live in Central City, I will be there. Always." I smiled warmly at her and said, "The same goes for you Crystal, I promise that I will always be there for you, and everything else that you just said." We both laughed and then did our signature hand shake to complete the promise.
I remember that day as if it were yesterday. Some days I still find it hard to believe that she's gone, even though she died 5 years ago.
Anyway, back to normal me, not depressing me.
It was 1:00 am so I decided it would be a good idea to get some sleep. I changed into my usual pyjamas and got under the soft covers of my bed. "Huh, I wonder what tomorrow will be like. I don't have any plans to rob anywhere. Meh, I guess I'll find out tomorrow." And with that I was gone.
The next couple of weeks went by and I became quite close with Iris, Barry, Cisco and Caitlin. Joe was finally warming up to me which was good cause then he won't suspect anything.
Today I was meant be meeting Cisco, Caitlin, Iris, Eddie and Barry at a club. It was 08:30pm and I was meant to be meeting them at 09:00pm. I wasn't sure weather I was meant to dress fancy, casual or both. So I decided on both. I wore a teal dress that had lace on the top half, a belt to separate the two halves and a skater skirt type of bottom. I wore black flats and a necklace that I got Crystal for Christmas one year. It was a silver arrow shooting a diamond, Crystal loved archery so I got it her. I decided to leave my hair as it was. I got a taxi to the club at 08:50, I didn't want to be late. As I got out of the taxi I saw Cisco and Caitlin waiting outside, I walked over to them and said hi. "Wow." Is what Cisco said looking me up and down. "What? It's not to much is it?" I asked acting anxious, when in reality I knew I looked bloody hot. "No, you look amazing Malaya." Caitlin reassured with a small smile. 15 minutes later a gush of wind passed us and I noticed Cisco and Caitlin look at each other. I knew it was Barry, and smirked to myself. Barry came running out of the alley as if he was late. Which he was which is remarkable for someone with super speed. "Your late Mr Allen." I said in a humorous tone. He just smiled and said "Sorry ma'am." We all laughed as we walked inside to Iris and Eddie.
All of us were playing a game of darts, at the moment it was Iris' go. I was at the bar with Barry as he stared longingly at Iris, wishing Eddie wasn't in the picture and he was. "Hey, you doing ok?" I asked, finding myself actually caring. No. I don't care about anyone. I will never care about anyone. Never. "Yeah, yeah I'm good." He replied with a sad look in his eyes. "Liar." I smirked and he just smiled. "Uh, I need a shot." Barry ordered two shots, one for both of us. We clinked them together and downed them. I shook my head feeling the burn of the alcohol running down my throat. I looked over at Barry to see him frowning. He quickly walked over to Cisco and Caitlin and started to talk. I was shocked when I could here what he was saying clearly over all of the music. And what was more surprising is that he was at least 5 meters away. "I'm 25 and my drinking days are over!" I heard Barry moan. I started to freak out, so I left the club and started to walk some where. I don't know where I was going I just needed to figure out what was happening to me.
