Chapter 14

CHAPTER 14

Prim's P.O.V

I turned to look at Alex once Peter and Jessica left. "We have to find Lucas now. I know who they were talking about." I said as I pulled him towards my car.

"Who was it?" Alex questioned curiously.

"It's Lucas' dad, the devil." I replied as I hopped into the driver’s seat.

"Lucas is the devils son?!" Alex shouted.

"Yes. I know I should have told you, but trust me, Lucas is nothing like his dad." I explained to him.

"Whatever." Alex said.

We drove in silence until we reached my house. I parked the car and we both climbed out and headed for the beach.

Once we reached the beach house again I closed my eyes and called for Lucas with my mind. When I opened my eyes he was stood before us.

"You called." He said.

"Your dad's here. My friends, Jenny and Peter said they saw him at the arcade the other night." I explained.

"Oh god." Lucas mumbled as he ran a hand through his hair and began to pace.

"Whatever he's here for, it's not going to be for a good reason." Lucas told us as he suddenly stopped pacing.

"Well, do you have an idea why he would be here?" I asked him.

Lucas looked at me before turning his gaze to Alex. A frown appeared on his face.

"I have an idea. He probably wouldn't be here for anything else other than to kill Alex." Lucas told us.

I felt my blood run cold. He was here to kill Alex? Oh, god. I have to protect Alex, I can't lose him, not after everything that we have just found out.

I sighed. "Just as things start getting better they get worse again." I mumbled and Alex wrapped me into a hug. I nuzzled my head into his chest, not wanting him to let go.

"It'll be okay we'll find a way out of this." Alex said, trying to comfort me.

"Alex, I suggest you stay with Prim for the time being. She can keep you safe. I guess that's the positive side to her evil powers, my dad can't kill her." Lucas said with a grin.

"And what exactly are you going to do in the time being?" I asked as I looked at Lucas again.

"Well, I will continue helping you practice and when I'm not around I'll be looking for something to keep Alex protected." Lucas replied and I smiled at him gratefully.

"Thank you Lucas, you’re a truly great friend." I said, stepping away from Alex to give Lucas a quick hug.

"Don't mention it. Anyway, I better go. Let you two have some time together. We'll meet here at the usual time tomorrow for practice." Lucas said and we said our goodbye's before he disappeared.

I turned to Alex and saw him frowning. "You are just friends with him right?" He asked.

I chuckled at his words and wrapped my arms around his neck. "Alex of course we're just friends. And just to make this clear, you are the only one I love. Always have always will be." I told him and he smiled.

"I love you too Prim." He said and gave me a quick peck on my lips.

"Good because you’re going to be stuck with me for a while." I told him.

"Great, all of my nightmares come true." He joked and we both laughed.

"Now come on. We have to tell my Nana you'll be staying with us for a while." I said and began to drag him outside.

"What are we going to tell her if you don't want her to know about any of this?"

I just shrugged. "We can just tell her that you and your dad are having problems at the moment. Anyway, she loves it when your around. Said it makes me seem happier, which I am." I admitted.

"And you make me happy too." He said and wrapped his arm around my waist as we walked back to my house.
