CHAPTER 20
Prim's P.O.V
"Take a seat, my love." Lucifer informed me when we entered the dining room. More like dining hall, it was huge.
The table stretched from one end to the other and hundreds of posh looking people were sat down and tucking into the feast on the table. They continued to chatter even when I sat down next to Lucifer and Julie sat beside me. They were the only spare seats.
Lucifer sat on a chair different from the others. It was more like a throne. Towering over the others as it sat at the head of the table.
"You look magnificent tonight my love." Lucifer complimented me.
"Thank you my Lord." I whispered, looking down at my plate full of food. Julie had already started eating.
A shiver of disgust ran through me when I felt Lucifer's hand rubbing my thigh through the fabric of my dress under the table. I had to fight the urge to stop myself from punching him in the jaw. If I did punch him, he would kill the baby once it's born, I had to protect it.
When his hand moved to my stomach I gasped. "Hmm, I can't wait until this thing is born. Just imagine all the things I could do to you then." He whispered.
Tears filled my eyes so I squeezed them shut to stop them from falling. I wouldn't cry, not in front of him. I will not give him that satisfaction. "Eat up my love." He demanded.
I didn't feel hungry when he was near, but I ate anyway. I swallowed the food down, not tasting it properly and instead, thinking about Alex. We both didn't even get the chance to go out on a proper date.
When my plate was almost empty I stopped eating. That was when Lucifer stood up and caught everyone's attention. Silence was heard all around as everyone stared at Lucifer, waiting for him to speak.
"I have called for this meal for one special reason. This young woman is Prim and I would like to ask her something." He announced and everyone turned to look at me as Lucifer helped me stand from my chair.
"For many years I have had my eyes on you Prim. And as those years passed I grew to love you. Now I could not imagine life without you beside me." He said and then got down on one knee, pulling out a small box and opening it to reveal a sparkling ring. "Primrose Emberlin, would you do me the honour of becoming my wife and the Queen of Hell?"
I was stunned and horrified at the same time. It made me speechless. I wanted to scream at him and say that I would never marry him if my life depended on it, but instead it was my child’s life that depended on it. He knew that I had no other choice but to say yes, that's what totally pissed me off.
"I would love to." I said in monotone, but nobody seemed to notice my flat tone since they were clapping and cheering.
I stared straight into Lucifer's eyes and glared as he grinned wickedly and slipped the ring onto my finger. I knew he could see the anger and hate filling my eyes but he pretended to ignore it and instead pecked my lips. I didn't kiss him back.
"We shall get married in four months!" Lucifer declared before leaving me so he could talk to the others.
Practically everyone came over to congratulate me. Luckily I managed to fake a smile and thank them, making sure to sound happy and pleased.
After a while the guards took me and Julie back to our room. Julie wouldn't stop blabbing on about how I was going to be a real Queen and she would be a Princess. It was cute, but I'd rather not be the Queen of HELL.
That was when I made a promise to myself that one day; I would get out of this hell hole.

Alex's P.O.V
(Skip two months from Prim's P.O.V)
"I'm so tired." I mumbled and Lucas told me to be quiet.
That confused me, why would we have to be quiet? I mean, we have been wondering around this maze for two months straight and we have seen nobody. Not a single living thing.
At least these two months have been keeping my mind away from Prim more. The only thing I have been focused on is which way to go. I still remember that it's been three months now since I last saw her.
I'm starting to get more snappy and grumpy. I'm always shouting at Lucas, even when he tells me to calm down and that shouting isn't going to get us anywhere, if anything it will just slow us down. I always shut up when he tells me that but I shout again later.
"What is it?" I whispered, making sure to keep me voice down.
"It's the key, we're here. But there is someone guarding it." He explained.
My eyes widened and I quickly peaked around the corner of the wall. There was a single guard stood there with a spear in his hand. I almost laughed.
"We could take him down easily." I told Lucas.
"I know, just be quiet for a moment." He commanded. His eyes were closed in concentration and before I could even blink the guard disappeared with a cry of pain.
"What the hell did you do?" I asked in astonishment as I followed Lucas as we headed for the key.
"I just sent him to the underworld where not even the strongest people could get out. Well, unless your someone who helps control it. But if you are locked in there purposely, you stay there for eternity." Lucas replied proudly.
My eyes travelled over to the key. It was hovering over a short stone pillar that had complicated pattern carved into it.
Once we were both stood in front of it I grabbed the top half of the key and Lucas grabbed the bottom. He mumbled a few words that I didn't hear and we were suddenly whirling in a porthole, which eventually brought us to our destination.
The second gate to Hell.
