Chapter 27

CHAPTER 27

Prim's P.O.V

I landed in my bedroom and heard knocking on the door downstairs. Quickly, I ran to the front door and swung it open to reveal a woman that looked similar to Alex. 

"Who are you?" I asked. 

"I'm Alice, Alex's mom. You need to come with me quickly." She said, sounding out of breath. Maybe she had been running?

"What's wrong? Where is Alex?" I asked nervously. I had a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach that I wouldn't like the answer. 

"It's your Nana, she's gone crazy. She wants’ to kill you and Alex." She said, grabbing my hand and dragging me out of the house. I didn't even get to close the door. 

"Is she with Alex now?" I asked, panic rising in me. 

"Yes, that's why we need to get there and stop her before things get out of hand." Alice explained. 

"Wait, Amelia!" I shouted suddenly. "Where are they?" 

"In the beach house. Who's Amelia?" She asked but I didn't explain and instead transported us quickly so that we were in one of the bedrooms in the beach house. 

I looked frantically around the room and spotted the white crib where Amelia was fast asleep. Tears fell quickly down my face as I scooped her up and held her tightly to me. I never wanted to let her go. 

"Prim?" Alice asked in a whisper as she stared at Amelia questioningly.

I gulped and looked at Amelia as her eyes fluttered open. Her little head turned and she stared at Alice. "This is your granddaughter, Amelia." I said quietly. 

Alice started crying silently. Her hand went to her mouth and I knew she was holding back a sob. "She's beautiful." She choked out as quiet as possible. 

I kissed Amelia's forehead before handing her over to Alice. That's when I heard it, Julie's scream, followed by shouts and alot of banging. 

Amelia started crying and Alice looked at me. "Go stop your nana; I'll keep her safe, I promise." She said and I nodded quickly, giving Amelia one last kiss. I then bolted out of the room as quickly as possible.

Alex's P.O.V

"Why would you do this to your own family?" I asked Lilly. She may be Prim's Nana but after she told me what she's done she's nothing but a monster to me. 

"I told you already. Lucifer asked me to and since I love him, I did exactly what he asked me to." She replied with an evil grin. 

I looked over at Julie to see that the blood from her stab wound was getting worse. Julie's scream had woken Amelia up but her crying seemed to be calming down. 

"I think your just a sick old woman. You killed your own husband, helped in the death of your own daughter and son in law and now you want to kill your own granddaughters and me. And for what, oh yeah, because you love Lucifer. But let me tell you something, you won't be seeing him again, because Prim and Lucas sent him to the Underworld for an eternity of torture." I spat, this woman disgusts me. 

Her eyes suddenly grew dark and her body began shaking with anger. "They what?" She said in a threateningly low voice. 

"They sent him. To the Underworld." I said slowly, so she would understand.

I was suddenly thrown back into the wall. All of the plaster cracked and fell around me. Pain began filling in my head and my vision started to grow darker as I began slipping into unconsciousness. 

"You will pay Alex. And you will pay with death." Lilly said as she pulled her hand above her head, getting ready to kill me with her powers. 

Before she could kill me a flash of red lighting struck her. It sent her flying into the wall, causing the plaster to fall off around her. 

"Time for a trip to the Underworld, you bitch." I heard Prim's voice. 

The last thing I heard was Lilly's scream and the place she once occupied was now empty. Prim had sent her to the Underworld. That's when everything went black.
