Our beach house wasn't anything too fancy. It was two stories with six bedrooms, a kitchen facing the ocean, an average size living room, three bathrooms, there were probably way cooler houses elsewhere but this one always worked for us. However, the bedroom thing was an issue.
Of course my parent's room was off limits so we only had five bedrooms. I quickly went to put my stuff in my room so no one could claim it, as did Zander in his own room. Therefore, three rooms left to divide amongst seven people.
Eventually everyone settled on their arrangements. In one room was me obviously, in their own rooms was Zander and Tayla. Jonah, Zach, and Daniel in another, and Jack and Corbyn in the last. {i guess that works idk it's 2 late 4 me to math}
"Well," I clap my hands together, "you guys have fun. I'm gonna go unpack." with that I run upstairs to my room and start to unpack.
I don't know why I wasn't so accustomed to the idea of these guys staying with us. They've been nothing but kind and I probably came off as a total asshole when in reality if someone even raises their voice to me I get sensitive and may start crying.
It took me about two hours to get fully unpacked and by that time my aunt had called us all down and said she had ordered pizza and it would be here soon.
So now the six of us, Tayla was still busy unpacking, sat around the living room. Zander was in his room too busy playing video games to join us.
"So Anslie, tell us about yourself." Zach prompts. I shrug and mess with the fabric on the couch. "what do you want to know?"
"Hobbies, life, anything you feel necessary to tell us."
"Why don't you guys go first?" I suggest. I didn't want to open up to five random strangers.
"Well we're all currently living in L.A. and for the next four weeks are staying in Florida before we have to go back to work." Jonah says.
"Oh and we're in a band." Daniel adds. I nod, "a band huh, I dont suppose that's your work back in L.A. is it?"
"It is actually." Jack nods. I stare at him a moment. "Are you guys any good?"
"You tell us." They then proceed to sing a song that I had never heard before, but it was still a pretty good song. "that wasn't terrible." I applaud.
"Do you sing?" Jack asks. I let out a laugh. "I can't sing worth a penny."
"Yo you guys literally have no food." Zach says standing in the kitchen. At some point he had transitioned from the living room floor to standing in front of the fridge with a frown on his face.
"Well yeah, we just got here a few hours ago. Not really had any time to go get food. It's why we ordered pizza." I say in a duh tone. He sticks his tongue out at me.
"We should go grocery shopping later."
"Do you all want to go? If not you're welcome to stay here." My aunt says walking down the stairs with a towel wrapped around her head. She must have just gotten out of the shower. "Make yourselves at home too, since you'll be staying here a few days."
"Actually," Jonah trails off and glances around at his bandmates. "Do you think we could stay here the full four weeks? If not it's cool, we just were thinking it would be a lot more easy on all of us. The guys and I are willing to help out around the house and everything..."
