Corbyn • WHY DONT WE
@corbynbesson
Sky's so clear when you're the view.

"OOH CORBYN WHO'S YOUR TWEET ABOUT?" Zach smirks as we re-enter the house. Corbyn and I spent a good few minutes outside talking about random things. It turns out Corbyn has an odd taste in food. Broccoli with ranch.

"It's about our song?" Corbyn states in a 'duh' tone.

"Okay but actually Anslie, we're really sorry for being jerks." Jonah says. I wave him off. "stop apologizing, I don't care anymore." I smirk, "besides you shouldn't apologize for something natural."

"I can't tell if that's a roast or a compliment." Jack furrows his eyebrows in confusion before shrugging and going back to whatever it was he was previously doing.

"Where's Tayla and Zander?" I ask, sitting down on the couch next to Jack. "I think they're out shopping." Jack answers, I nod and start scrolling through my phone.

Since knowing the guys I've grown quite popular. My entire family has in fact, after my dad broadcasting on live television through our local news network that my mother cheated, it started to go viral. Then with the added fact that I'm 'friends' with this boyband, we've gained a lot more attention.

Thankfully the boyband has refrained from questioning me about the whole divorce thing because it's just an added amount of stress that I don't feel like explaining to people. It's none of their business anyway.

"Hey Anslie," Jack's voice snaps me out of my thoughts. I look over at him in response. "Hm?"

Jack pulls me to the kitchen slightly isolating ourselves from the rest of the group. "Is there something going on between you and Corbyn?" He asks after making sure no one was listening. I stare at him a moment. Jack wasn't jealous was he?

"Something going on? Jack I barely know him. He's pretty great but I wouldn't necessarily say I like him in that way." Jack nods and opens the refrigerator door to grab a bottled water. "Besides, why do you care?" I cross my arms, reaching in to grab a water as well.

Jack rolls his eyes, "I think the answer is pretty obvious why I would care, Anslie."

I place a hand over my heart and let out a fake squeal, "Do you like Corbyn?" I wanted to avoid the actual answer as much as possible. Jack groans and shuts the fridge door which I hadn't realized was still open and he was leaning on it.

"God, you're annoying."

I scoff, "Jeez Jack, and here I thought we were friends.

"We are friends." He answers quickly. Now it's my turn to roll my eyes. "Anyway, I'm gonna go back over here." I motion behind me towards the living room with my thumb. "Bye."

With that I turn and walk back into the living room where I find my best friend sitting with her arms folded across her chest in an annoying manner.

"We need to talk." Bea says, dragging me away before I even get a chance to sit down.

~

"Why are you flirting with Jack?" Bea asks once we're secluded away in the bathroom, which in my opinion isn't the best place to have a 'private' conversation considering it echoes.

"I was not flirting with Jack." I state simply. Bea throws her hands up, "Yes you were. I heard you."

"If that's flirting then it was unintentional. Calm down, Bea."

She looked angry and I couldn't understand why.

"You know Jack is my favorite. Why would you be flirting with my man? I mean, it's not like you've ever been in a real relationship. Jack probably only thinks he likes you because you're kind of pretty. And if y'all ever were to get in a relationship,it's not likely that it would work out. Your family has a history for terrible relationships. Just saying.

That one kind of stung.

"You're kidding, right? I do not like Jack nor do I like Corbyn. In fact, I'm not even interested in a relationship right now. I'm sorry if you think that I'm 'flirting with your man'. I'm not. With that said, you have a boyfriend Bea. Why throw yourself at some guy you barely know?"

"Jack's more attractive than Ben anyway." Bea shrugs. I stare at her for a moment. I knew she wasn't as serious in the relationship as her boyfriend was but damn, if he were here he'd be heartbroken.

"You're so inconsiderate, what the hell Beatrice?"

Beatrice shrugs then looks up at me with a bright grin, "But what I'm getting at is that Jack's single?"

"Unbelievable!" I throw my hands up in the air and exit the bathroom. I'm starting to regret every allowing her on the vacation. I love her to death but most of the time she has moments where she is a total bitch.

AKA most of her life.

Back in the living room I found the guys all sat in their places on the couch, Zander had joined them as they all watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

"Mind if I join?"

The guys make room for me and I, unfortunately, sit in between Jack and Corbyn.

Soon Beatrice joins us and sits down on the smaller couch next to Zach. She cuts me a glare and I roll my eyes. It must be that time of the month.

Corbyn pulls out his phone after everyone gets resituated and seconds later my phone dings.
