"Why do you hate Kyle Hastings anyways?"
The question made Grey freeze in her spot. After brunch (ugh, she still hated it) with Seth, they'd called Lisa and Alex to explain about their current situation.
Grey thought about how excited Lisa was when Kyle Hastings became a teacher unaware of what happened last year. Alex was in the same boat.
It was inevitable anyways, that summer Alex and Lisa were mostly holed up in Seth's summer villa they had all stayed in, enjoying a summer romance together. While Grey, Seth and the others were out they'd been inside, oblivious to all that was happening, banging each other day and night.
When the crime happened, they'd decided to keep it to themselves, not wanting to bother the two of them.
Though they were broken up now.
Grey snapped out of her train of thought to look properly at Lisa and Alex.
They'd all gone to Jade's mansion in Palo Alto, helping her unpack. Sure she'd been here for a week but she had a plethora of clothes she'd taken with her plus new clothes. It was just that, she just needed help putting her clothes back. Ultimately they'd forgotten about the clothes and gone to her rooftop to tell Alex and Lisa the situation at hand.
It wasn't really serious though. She hoped at least karma would be nice enough.
She looked at Lisa. Lisa didn't really seem bothered by anything she had said, the brunette had remained completely indifferent to everything, playing with different strands of her hair as she daintily ate the tacos that were made by Jade.
Alex on the other hand, seemed mad that he'd been in the dark about everything that happened last summer, a sign that showed just how fragile his and Lisa's relationship was. They'd never been compatible. It started one summer and ended before the next one.
