13 | crappy monday's, take two
After homeroom, it was English. The silly peacock, Kyle Hastings may not have noticed Grey last Monday but there was no way he was going to be basking in adoration without teaching a lesson again.
She'd skipped the rest of last week so she didn't have to put up with him and his surprise but she was guessing, if he he'd actually gone to the police last Tuesday then obviously he'd known she was here.
She groaned onto the shutter of Seth's car, leaning towards it.
Seth glanced at her. "What's wrong?"
"I've managed to avoid him the past week and so have you. Sure, I've seen him now but him actually looking at me, I don't think I can handle that." She said, keeping her eyes trained on the view, or lack thereof considering the speed limit he was exceeding.
She definitely couldn't hold his gaze, hell she couldn't even look at him due to what happened yesterday. It was odd for her, she'd done stuff much more intimate than a measly hug and yet her face managed to turn scarlett every time she even thought of it.
Or maybe that was just it. She had slept with people and she was by no means innocent, or Seth for that matter. Sex didn't really mean anything to her, but maybe a simple hug (something which was out of character for Seth as well, she would admit) meant more to her than all the useless time she kept banging.
"We could skip?" He suggested.
"Of course we can't. And keep your eyes on the wheel please. I don't want to die even if I'm wearing a seat belt." She said.
He chuckled. "You're not going to die by exceeding the speed limit." He turned his eyes to the road ahead. "Jesus lady I've known you for so long and all this time I haven't involved you in anything that's- uh related with a car accident. And I'm a safe driver."
