One ordinary Saturday a girl who was 5 years old was eating chicken nuggets and decided when she was done to use the floor radiator to get on to the windowsill and lean back. When she leaned back the screen gave-way and the five year old girl then fell three stories down onto the grass. The people that lived below her had heard a thump outside and they saw her and were trying to get her moms attention. The mom saw her daughter and the screen next to her daughter three stories below. Her mom called an ambulance and one of the people that lived below her ha came outside to pick her up an take her to the side of the building where there was an entrance to the building. The ambulance came and the five year old girl went to the E.R. When she got to the E.R. the doctors had to put a neck brace on her and do all these procedures to see what was broken. They found out that she had a broken Femur (that was pretty much shattered). When she had surgery the doctors gave her this smelling gas so she wouldn't remember it. She was in so much pain that she screamed Bloody Murder (not really "Bloody Murder") because the doctors had to take apart her whole Femur and put it back together almost like a puzzle and put titanium rods in to help it heal. A month later her kindergarten teacher had brought her all these gifts that her classmates had made for her and her teacher brought silly putty. Then one and a half months later she got to go back to kindergarten and play with her friends and even though she had to be in a wheelchair she had a lot of fun. After a while she had to try to learn walk again that was not fun for her to do because she kept falling and the pain that it cause her just to step forward even a centimeter was unbearable. After the surgery the doctor told her mom that her daughter is a very lucky girl because she should have been paralyzed from the neck down and her leg will most likely not grow but ... what did happen was her leg did grow and she now plays Lacrosse, Softball, Basketball, Tennis, and does Swimming. She is very thankful for god sending angels with her that day and saving her life.
