Chapter 8: Arguments and Safety

Rose's POV:

         I helped Scar get back to her region because of her injuries, but it was really hard to keep her up the whole way so, we stopped and I tended to her wounds. Since I was from the East region I knew how to heal my crush, then she said, "Don't ever do that again!" She said agressivley. "Do what again?" " Don't put yourself in danger like that again! I don't want to lose you because of how much I..." She then covers her mouth with her paw and blushs while looking towards the ground. While I blush dark red and touch one of her wounds.

         "Ow!! What did you do that for!!!?" She whines, while licking her wound. "So that you can remember that I am capable of taking care of myself! I'm not that helpless you know!" I said, but before Scar could say another word a cougar jumps out and begins to attack us.

Scar's POV:

        The cougar had tried to take a swipe at Rose, but I bit him on his back leg and pulled him away from her. I then looked at him with death in my eyes and immediately used my claw to scar him on his snout. I then said to him, "If you ever go near her again or hurt her, I will hunt you down and kill you!" I then let him go and then said under my breath, "I'm sorry"

        I then turned my attention to Rose who was staring at me with a shocked look on her face.  "I guess sometimes you do need a hero huh?" I said with a smirk on my face trying to keep my cool. She then came closer to me and only licked my cheek in response. I blush dark red as me and her continue our journey to the North region.

Rose's POV:

         'I can't believe Scar did that for me'  I thought to myself, 'Why did she have to be so brave for me? I guess this proves why she cares and protects me,' I sighed and said under my breath, "And that's why I love her."
