Chapter 14

         As Scar went to hunt for her family, yet again, after her sisters had failed to bring back food. Her sisters did their best to try to make Rose comfortable. But Scar, knowing her sisters, were most likely arguing about who's the best and making Rose give her opinion. Scar groans at the thought of it, 'I shouldn't have left her there.' But soon enough she remembered how scolding yet, sincere Rose can be. She then passed it off as nothing and continued on with the hunt. She soon came across a deer near the lake. As she began to crouch down into the grass, a sudden large force rammed against her. She looked up to see a cougar, one of the wolves greatest enemy, who were also in line with the West and South regions.
She struggled to get up, but couldn't. She kept jerking her head around, avoiding the cougars teeth. She soon realized that her back legs were right under the cougar. She then used all her strength to lift the cougar and push it off her. She then grabbed the cougars neck, using unknown strength, she cracked the cougars neck instantly killing it. 'Where did that come from?!' She thought. "That was pretty sweet." A voice came from above her. She then looked up to see Scarlett. Scar began to back away a little as Scarlett came down. "Relax. You just have cut on your arm." 'I didn't even feel that.' Scar thought as Scarlett came over and tended to Scars wound. "An eastern wolf. Good. Thank you for your help." Scar said and went to pick the cougar up.
"You need help with that?" "No, I've got it." Scar then began to attempt to pick up the cougar, but failed various times. "Ok, maybe a little help." Scarlett rolled her eyes, while cocking an eyebrow up with a smirk on her face knowing she was right about Scars strength. Both girls carried the cougar on their backs, making their way back to the North region. Once arriving, they headed to Scars cave and received shocking looks from the pack members. "Looks like their impressed." Scarlett said with a smirk. They finally made it up to their destination and slide the cougar off their backs, onto the cave floor. Rose then came over and told them to clean off their bloody backs. Both Scar and Scarlett rolled their eyes and headed to the falls of the cave and rinsed off.
Once done, everyone began to eat the cougar. Scars sisters did admit, that they had never made a kill like this before and messed up Scars fur. They then went off to their section of the cave and slept. Flare then gave a lick to Scars face and went to her cave. But soon a jealous Rose came over and wiped the spot where Flare licked, off Scars face. Scar smiled at the fact that Rose was jealous, but didn't leave a comment like she usually would. Rose then went up to where her and Scar last slept, while Scar went to Scarlett. "You got someplace to stay?" "Yea. Got a cave just outside the region. I'll come by tomorrow." Scarlett responded. "Alright, well take care." Scar side while lightly hitting Scarlett's side. Both of them smiled and went their opposite ways.
Scar went up to see Rose looking up at the moon. "I'll have to back tomorrow. Who knows what my Alpha is doing to the pack." Rose said. "Well make sure that you come back soon. You know how lonely I can get." Scar said with a wink. Rose rolled her eyes, but smiled at Scars behavior. She always did find it funny, how Scar says she's lonely but has so many friends. Scar then layed down and slowly began to fall asleep with Rose by her side. Both girls were happy that they had each other and knew that one day, they wouldn't have to separate. But what Scar didn't know, was that hell, was coming straight for her.
