Chapter 19: The Dreams

Scar's POV:
I was running, afraid. I ran so fast I thought my heart was going to give out, but it didn't. Darkness was the only thing that surrounded me. "Scar," a voice said. It sounded calm and nice, but I still wouldn't turn around. I began falling rapidly down, I couldn't stop it. Flames were at the bottom, I look up to a bright light, it's a white she wolf with bright ice blue eyes, yelling, "PUT IT OUT!"
     I looked at the flames and had felt heat like hell fire! It started to burn my skin, I screamed and soon enough I thought I was dead, for I felt nothing. I opened my eyes and realized the flames were gone and a cool mist was radiating from my body. I looked at the she wolf, she nodded and faded into the darkness. I continued to walk through the darkness now trudging throw the ground, my paws feeling heavier.
      As a trudged and new wolf appeared, this wolf was strong and pure black with flaming red eyes. He smirked at me and began to flick heavy rocks at me. I panicked and began to dodge each one, after avoiding each one, he growled. Turning into a giant lion, lunging for me. I used Scarlett's training and was able to get a grab at its neck but I tried to flick me off and started scratching and where I was.
      I focused hard and was able to use sharp thorn vines and put it around the lions body, pinning it down in a bloody mess. It kept roaring in agony and pain, I couldn't end it. I took away the vines and the lion looked at me and nodded, leaving me again in darkness. I ran for it, but it disappeared.
     Next I was in snow, a hill was presented. The two wolves that I had been seeing, were at the top. I ran up the hill, using my claws to help as the steepness of the hill grew steeper. Once I got to the top, I saw them, turning there backs! "Wait! Who are you?" They stopped and turned around speaking in one voice. "We are your purpose." All the sudden, I fell of the mountain falling once again, but this time I woke.
    I woke to find myself in a cold sweat. I groaned, 'My purpose?' I thought. I turned to see Rose still sleeping soundly, I smiled and gently got up, trying not to wake her. But she did. "Where are u going?" She asked, stretching herself out. "To hunt." "Well I guess I'm coming too." She said as she started toward the cave entrance. I rolled my eyes and followed her.
     Just as we were heading toward the hunting fields, Daze and Flare headed towards us. "Let me guess, North and East get the beast, South and West get the rest?" I asked my cousin, she yawned and nodded while grumbling. The alphas never went to hunt, we hunted for them. South and West, hunt at night then the next morning. Then North and East hunt the next night then morning and it switches off until the Gathering is done.
     We headed towards the hunting grounds and saw some caribou. Flare and Daze went to attack them
from one side with me and Rose on the other. Both groups began to attack, we ended up scoring 4 caribou. As the bodies lays on the grass, I blink my eyes and soon see wolves dead everywhere. With Ghost standing in the middle of it, laughing maniacally. I blinked again and saw my cousin, Flare and Rose looking at me. "You okay cuz? You were out for awhile," Daze asked.
     "Oh yes I'm fine. Sorry, let's get this back to the lake. Alphas and the others will be waking soon." I said going under two of the four animals, picking them up on my back, then walking back to the camp. "Good job omegas and betas. You have provided a mighty meal." Zane said. We smiled and took our share then went to a spot near our cave to eat.
      "What really happened?" Rose asked me out of nowhere. I gave her a confused look, which soon cracked when I realized what she was talking about. I then told her about the bizarre dream and I lied about the wolves being dead, I just told her I was having a flash back of dream. She believed me, thankfully.
     "You know you could always talk to me Scar. Nothing you say isn't crazy for me." She said chuckling a little bit, I smiled and licked her head. "Scar~" I hear, 'Crap.' And there was Flare, giving me her most seductive look ever. "Storm wants to see us. We need to go now," she said and I nodded, getting up from my most comfortable position and heading towards the Alphas den.

Rose's POV:
     'Stupid Flare! Always stealing my Scar!' I thought while growling to myself. "Wow, you must really love my cousin." Daze said, catching me off guard. She laughed and sat next to me. "What am I supposed to do?" I asked her. "Well, night is Scar's favorite time. Maybe you could steal her then?" She suggested. I smiled and became more calm. She was right, besides the South and West would be out and maybe I can get the right moment alone with her!
     I thanked Daze and began heading towards the Alphas den, but my expression changed as soon as I saw what was waiting there.
