Brother - Naruto Fanfic

Black and Blonde

   I returned to Konohagkure, the Village Hidden in the Leaves, rushing to tell the Hokage what we learned. My report was already written out due to the cave incident. I even intercepted the Sand's fastest messenger hawk and tied my message along with the one on its leg before we left the cave. I went as fast as I could with my team behind me. I even tapped into the Kurama's chakra to gain a little speed boost. I hopped through at a speed which I've rarely reached. After kilometers of travel I leapt through Tsunade's window in her office as fast as I could when I saw her waiting for me.

    "Fox I received the hawk yesterday, thank you for investigating. But there is something I need to tell you."

She paused and looked excited to tell me "Naruto returned while you were away." I almost jumped for joy, my whole body went numb and fire shot in my eyes. I knew it was too good to be true, I felt something weird "HOKAGE WHERE IS HE, WHERE IS MY BROTHER" I screamed at her like a little boy. "I sent him out" she looked down at the ground as she stated "I sent him with Team Kakashi to go help the Sand with anything they need. You know what happened I'm assuimng, I'm sorry I couldn't keep him around until you got here. He will be back soon. I can't allow you to go after him." My body went limp, my brother returned only to have him stripped away from me. My only brother who went out without even being able to see me.

"Is there anyway I can.."

    "No, you have a mission I need you to complete. We found a missing nin and I need you to capture him and bring him here, dead or alive. He is skilled but I'm sure you can handle it. Your partner on this mission will be Yamato. Bring him back and we will talk once you've returned."

     I walked out of the room depressed. My brother was gone again. Only to look for Gaara. I have to help him but I can't defy the Hokage, the only person who has the guts to do that are Naruto. Either way I have to finish my mission as quickly as possible. Maybe this could shed some light on the Akutsuki anyway. But now I need to go home. Clean up and go to bed. My own comfy bed. God I haven't seen this thing in, what feels like, forever. I plopped down as the sheets morphed to cradle my body. Seconds later I drifted into a dreamless sleep.

    That week went by quickly. My mission was easy but we trailed that guy for 2 straight days. Though I was anxious the whole time. His stupid attempts to lose us only frustrated me. Finally the journey ended when we cornered him on the border of Wave. Yamato was no fun either, it was like talking to a tree. The only thoughts on my mind the whole trip were of Naruto.

I need to see my brother. I need to see my brother. I was still laying in bed at this time. A loud roar jolted me up. It sounded like Might Guy, that dude was crazy, but I thought he was out with..... NARUTO. I sprang into action changing into my outfit. Always adding the red leather arm wraps. I looked out the window to the gates and saw nobody. Maybe they were too far behind Guy.

I ran to the gates as fast as I could hoping to catch my brother while he was there. "Where is my brother?" I asked the two stationed at the front gate. They stared at me for a bit until they realized who I was. I got a subtle response "They returned about 20 minutes ago and brought Kakashi to the hospital. Since then I don't know what happened." Izumo looked utterly confused and startled at my sudden appearance but Kotetsu just wanted me gone. He pointed the direction they left, I sped off at a speed strong enough to create gusts behind me.

"NARUTO!"

    After hearing this I knew my waiting was finally over, 3 fucking years of it. My brother was finally home. Once I made it to the hospital in Kakashi's room he informed me that they just left. His whitewash room only had one nurse and one cyclops in it. Knowing my excitement to leave he gave me one of those weird eye smiles and I sped off once more, this time being more careful not to startle any patients by exiting through Kakashi's window.

"NARUTO!"

The only other place they could be was Hokage Tower. I charged up chakra into my legs and ran as fast as I could through the streets. The gust behind me knocked over civilians and carts and wagons, but at this point I didn't care. My brother was home and that's all that really mattered to me. Jumping from roof to roof leaving craters in my wake. Then I saw a figure atop the Hokage Tower. His blonde hair is the dead giveaway. I got close and started hearing the conversation.

    "Well lets go find some new teammates!" Naruto screamed to Tsunade and Sakura. Then he looked down toward the city below, and we locked eyes. His sky blue eyes stared at me. I was about 100 meters from him. This was it. After three years, I found the only person who could really understand me. My brother who got much taller, he looked to be taller than me... Damn... But here he was. The future Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki!

     The wind blew and nobody dared to ruin this moment. Except for Sakura, she urks me, who only giggled. We stared at each other for a solid minute. No blinking, then he did the only thing I needed him to do. We both opened our mouths and did hand signs. Puffs of smoke surrounded us. Then we screamed in unison..

"KAGE BUNSHIN NO JUTSU"

     The chakra inside me boiled, the blood was racing. Both our shadow clones swirled their hands around our palms. We mirrored each other, the people on the streets saw us, saw the look in our eyes, saw the two brothers stare, they saw a pair of demons prove their training. The clones began to form balls of chakra in our hands. Then I jumped first, Naruto quickly followed. My purple ball, chakra rings surrounding it like rings on a planet, verse his blue ball surrounded by infused wind chakra. We collided midair as we screamed...

"RASENGAN"

      A flash of white light blinded all in the area. It was brighter than the sun, but soon it died down and the dust cleared. There we face each other on the rooftops. We were still deadlocked as we embraced the other. It felt like my world was spinning. I missed him and he missed me. I just knew it.... am I crying?

     "What are you two thinking! You could have hurt each other or one of us! BAKA!" Sakura screamed after pounding us in the head. She's gotten a lot stronger which made that hurt so much more. Naruto and I got teary eyed and both spoke in unison once again "Sorry Sakura-chan". Than I looked at him and laughed a bit. This is the idiot I've missed, leaning my head on his shoulder and turning into a brotherly embrace. We raised up to our feet, and engaged in a full embrace once more, something you'd read about in stories.

"So Blondie, how was training? I see even after you went away for three years you still never learned to clean up after yourself."

"Shut it asshole. It was awesome Jirayia-Sensei taught me so much. I can even do Taijutsu better than you!"

"You wish!"

       We laughed and chatted for the next hour, exchanging insults and even more childish banter. No matter how bad a day can be, he cheers me up. His outfit changed too. While retaining the swirls and orange pants of his outfit a few years ago, the blue pieces of his outfit changes to black: his forehead protector (which is now longer), sandals, and orange jacket, the black colour showing more prominence than the blue did originally. Naruto looked at me and probably thought how much I've changed too. But I still looked exactly like him. But my whiskers are longer and I have jet black hair. But everyone still saw the comparison between us. They called us demons but soon, they'd call us heroes.
