9 PM
Demi Lovato stood in front of her mirror taking off her makeup. She pulled a cleaning wipe from the pack and started to scrub off her face makeup. It was the easiest part since all that crap just slid right off. After the face makeup was cleared away, she moved to the eyes. Demetria always had a blast trying to get the eyeliner, and mascara to come off. After ten minutes a heavy duty scratching, the 27-year-old finally got all the makeup, and stress out of her pores, so she could wash her face. Once that part was over, she stripped out of her clothes and started running the hot water for her bath. Her bathroom contained a shower that flowed like a waterfall and a claw foot tube with gold trim around the top. Demi slid her phone into its Lifeproof case and got into the tub. Right as Demi's neck hit the edge of the tub, her phone started to ring. It was Natalie calling. "Yes?" Demi said putting her phone on speaker.
"Demi, I just wanted to make sure you got home safely." Natalie sugar coated. Demi sighed and rolled her eyes. She knew Natalie was just giving another lame ass excuse to cover up her real reason for calling.
"Tell me what you want before I hang up," Demi demanded. Natalie sighed, knowing Demi would hang up in the next few seconds if she didn't answer. "Natalie!" Demi was started to get aggravated.
"Your manager called me, and said to tell you he needs to take you somewhere tomorrow, at 9 AM sharp," Natalie answered. Demi was about to fight back but Natalie beat her to it. "I know you probably don't want to do this, but it will be good for you, okay? Just try," Natalie pleaded. Demi took a deep breath and closed her eyes.
"Fine," Demi agreed as if she really had a choice. She had been down the road of defiance, and she knew to just go along with it from now on. It made the whole situation easier that way. "Tell him I'm in, as long as I won't have to do anything I'm not comfortable with," Demi made her conditions clear.
"Totally agreed. See you tomorrow," Natalie hung up before Demi could change her mind. The pop star put her phone on the tubs tray and closed her eyes, relaxing.

As Demi relaxed in her tub, Kalani Rivers walked around her room cradling her son. "Isaac please go to sleep. Mommy has a test tomorrow, and she has to study," Kalani cried. His acid reflux was acting up and the last thing he wanted to do was the first thing he needed. The teen mom sat at her desk, trying to bottle feeding Isaac, and get some studying done at the same time.
"Kalani!" Little Yasmin called to get Kalani's attention. For a split second, she looked over to the child to let her know she was listening. "Meredith said that you aren't going to school tomorrow. You have a meeting," she informed. Kalani gratefully closed her notebook, and sat on her bed, patting the spot next to her so Yasmin could come to sit.
"Did she say who it was with?" Kalani asked, knowing Yasmin was excellent at eavesdropping and hiding because of her old home life. Yasmin sadly shook her head in response.
"What if you are gonna get adopted?" Yasmin asked in all seriousness. "If you do then, who will walk me home from school, or sing to me when I can't sleep, or," Yasmin hyperventilated.
"I will because I'm not getting adopted," Kalani stepped in seeing Yasmin was on the verge of tears. Kalani put Isaac in his crib to get some rest and pulled Yasmin into her lap. "Even if I do get adopted, all you have to do is call. I promise I will be there when you need me," Kalani assured, kissing her forehead with a smile as Yasmin cuddled into her chest.
"Can I sleep in here with you tonight?" Yasmin rhetorically asked. Kalani nodded and pulled them both under the covers. "You are the best big sister anyone could ask for. Even though you aren't my real big sister," The 5-year-old said, as she drifted off to sleep.
