Kalani sat on her bed changing Isaac for hundreth time that day and she was exhausted. She and Demi had just gotten back from exploring the park in her city, trying to get to know one another. 

Shit.

Kalani thought, checking the time. She had to get Yasmin from kindergarten but wasn't ready to leave Demi yet. "So, I can tell you like me," Demi said looking at the thousands of posters with her on it. "One thing," Demi lead. Kalani watched Demi point to a picture of her wearing red shorts and tights with a snicker. "This was not my choice. I promise." That statement made the girls burst into laughter and want to get closer to each other. They talked for a while and since Kalani is a teen who has obviously had sex, Demi wasn't censoring anything. Somehow they stumbled onto the topic of oral sex and Kalani was astonished

"So you've never gotten head before?" Kalani asked shocked. Demi shook her head.

"I can't say I have. Why have you?" Demi asked in all seriousness. Kalani gave her a smirk.

"That was part of how Issac was conceived," Kalani confessed. Demi looked shocked. Here was a 16-year-old, soon to be her daughter, that's done more sexual acts in one night than Demi has in her entire life.

"You're not always sexually active are you?" Demi asked, hoping she wouldn't have to keep an eye out for boys. Kalani shook her head, setting off an explosion of happiness in Demi's heart.

"I don't want any secrets between us like other families. I want us to always be honest." Kalani said leading into a point.

"I agree, 100%," Demi replied. Kalani smirked, picking up Isaac. "So the first thing you should know is that I am going on my Neon Lights Tour very soon, and I have a boyfriend, who is coming with us," Demi said, helping Kalani pack some of her things. When what had Demi said finally registered in Kalani's head she stopped.

"Boyfriend. As in Wilmer?" She asked. Demi nodded.

"Why? Is that a problem?" Demi asked. Kalani shook her head. She was totally lying though. The truth is, she doesn't really like Wilmer that much but for the sake of her new mom she was going to try. "Okay, I'm gonna go sign some papers and tomorrow I will pick you up after school," Demi announced giving Kalani a hug and kissing Isaacs head.

"Hey, Demi," Kalani stopped her. Demi turned around and smiled. "Wilmer doesn't live with you does he?" She asked. Demi shook her head.

"Don't worry. He doesn't live with me, sometimes he stays for the weekend but he always goes home," Demi answered. Kalani bit her lip, and smiled. 

This is going to be great. 

She thought before laying on her bed and relaxing before having to pick up Yasmin.
