Today is the day of the fair and I had to get my stall ready. Sophia helped post leaflets around the school about my $1 kissing booth. All day guys have been wolf whistling to me: maybe because of my outfit which consisted of a tank top and shorts. This weather is HOT, what else can I wear?

There were no lessons today and everyone was hectic about the fair. Even before I opened up my stall, there were around 10 guys already lining up. I managed to get other girls to help me, cheerleaders to be exact. These guys were definitely not waiting for me.

Music was blaring, people were dancing, money was being made. So far my stall had made over $100 and so many guys were coming back again. Again for more kisses.

"Excuse me everyone I have an announcement to make!" Everyone turned to see Rebecca standing on stage with a microphone. Brent walked over to me and hugged me, not trusting Rebecca's next actions.

"Hope you all are having fun!," The crowd whooped and cheered as a response.

'it's okay Tallulah, it'll be fine' I reassured myself. I took in deep breaths trying to calm my nerves. Brent sensed this and kissed my cheek.

"I'll protect you don't worry." He whispered before kissing me again.

"Ahem!," Rebecca coughed, getting the attention of both me and Brent as well as the whole school, "May I introduce you guys to the power couple of our school, Tallulah and Brent." Rebecca clapped and others joined her. I blushed and smiled.

"But little do you know, they've been keeping secrets from each other." She continued and my breath hitched.

"Do you know anything about this?" Brent asked, turning me to face him.

"Not that I know of, we'll find out." I was having a panic attack and I decided to go inside. I continued inhaling deeply, wishing whatever Rebecca had to say was nothing about me leaving.

A good 10minutes had gone past and I finally knocked up the courage to go back outside. When I got out, all eyes were on me and Brent sat with his head down. He raked his fingers through his hair and angrily got up, kicking the chair beside him.

"Brent honey, what happened..." I played with my fingers, a trait I picked up when I was nervous or worried. Brent looked up with bloodshot eyes and tears still dripping down his face.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He questioned.

"Why didn't I tell you what? I questioned back.

"You cut. You fricking self harm" He whispered. My eyes widened and my heart temporarily stopped.

"How did you know..." I managed to get out.

"Rebecca just announced it to the school, why didn't you tell me Tallulah I could've helped you." Everyone continued as normal and I was okay with that, I didn't want the attention anyway.

Brent drove me home and we both remained silent. He took me to his place and I sat down on his bed. I kept my head down holding back tears as Brent crouched in front of me.

"When did you start?" He asked holding my hands.

"After my dad left us. That's when everything changed and all the bullying began." I admitted. Brent moved my arm and tried to find my scars. I've learnt to cover them with foundation so it blended with my skin and no one found out. Well there's no point now.

"Where are they?" Brent asked, furrowing his eyebrows. I got tissue and wiped off the foundation, revealing new and old scars. A tear fell down Brent's face and landed on me.

"Don't cry." I whispered, barely being heard by Brent. He brought my arm closer to him and kissed my scars.

"Promise me you'll stop."

"I don't think I can. I've been doing this for years now and it's a habit." I explained.

"I love you Tallulah... please." He begged and I frowned. His brown eyes stared into mine and I could see sorrow. I nodded, making a promise I knew would be hard to keep.

Brent got up and bent towards me, making our faces nearer to each other. He kissed me and found his hands in my hair. Soon his lips came in contact with my neck and shoulder but soon found its way back to my lips. His left hand caressed my cheek and I wrapped my arms around his neck. Brent pushed his weight on me, forcing me to lay down- the kiss still continued. Arms and legs were pressed down either side of me and the kiss became more passionate. A queasy feeling formed in my stomach, I had to tell Brent I was leaving.

"Brent," I said parting from the kiss. Brent hummed in response, "I'm leaving."

"Haha very funny." He replied monotonously and resumed the kiss.

"Brent." I said again parting from him. He looked me in the eye and made a silly face to make me laugh.

"Knew you were lying." He smiled.

"That's unfair." I squirmed as Brent tickled me. Brent's lips came in contact with mine and his tongue touched my bottom lip. I allowed it inside and our mouths moved in sync. My shirt was tugged at the bottom and I stopped to take it off. Brent also took off his to reveal a pack and I bit my lip. Brent laughed and I blushed but he lifted my chin and kissed me again. His lips ended up at the crook of my neck and he almost reached my weak spot. I felt Brent's arms at my shorts as he tried to unbutton them. I sat up and moved out of his grip. I moved a strand of hair behind my ear and frowned.

"I'm not ready yet, and anyway I'm only 16." I said.

"Oh," Brent began, "Well I'm erm not going to force you to do something you don't want to do. I don't even know if I want to do it." He suppressed a smile and I returned it.

"We need to practise the dance." Brent announced as he got up, pulling me towards him.

"The dance for what." I tried hiding a grin as Brent was still topless, well so was I.

"The slow dance for prom. You are my date." Brent smiled.

"Mr Rivera is this how you invite somebody to prom?" I mocked in the accent of a posh woman.

"Erm maybe. Hold on let me get my phone, I'm gonna make a vine." The timer started ticking down and Brent began talking.

"Miss Durley, will you go to prom with me?" He asked.

"Mr Rivera of course...not." Brent's smile faded and I didn't feel like laughing it out.

"Tallulah do you mean that?" His voice became quieter.

"I erm don't know." I admitted.

"Whether you are going or not," he started but I placed my finger on his lips to hush him. He kissed my forehead and rested his his head on mine. My eyes began to feel heavy and before I knew it I was asleep.

At around 2 in the morning my phone went off. I groaned and got myself out of Brent's grip to retrieve my phone from the table. He mumbled something but I ignored it.

"Hello." I answered, my voice sounding really croaky.

"Tallulah? Hey how are you?" I recognised that voice.

"Dad."
