Chapter 23

Emme's POV

    They all turn to look at me in disbelief.  They couldn't smell anything. Thats the problem they cant smell this type of rogues because the stupid things are hiding its sent with a sent shield.

   Before anyone could stop me I bolted out the door. I shifted and ran as fast as I could twords the smell. I could hear footprints behind me and I knew it was Elizabeth, Jordan, and Tamer.

    In a matter of minutes we had gone a couple of miles and the sent was getting stronger.

   When we finally came to a stop I was horrified of what I saw. It was the same territory that I had fought in when I was five, the same place I defeated all the rogues.  The only things that is different was it was all torn down and abandoned. The other thing that was different was now it was my kids that were in danger.

  The four of them were holding onto each other for dear life. The boys even being brave enough to growl at the rogues that came remotely near there mates.

    We ran to them and they instantly knew it was us, even in our wolf form. We were about to leave when a rogue steped right in front of us. Jordan stepped in front of me and growled at the rogue.

   The rogue jumped on Jordan and began to claw at him. I didnt even notice the other's getting attacked, I was just worried about my mate. Nothing else mattered untill I remembered the kids.

   I wiped my head around to try to find them. They were not being touched and thats how I wanted it to stay.

   I wiped my head back around when I heard a deafening whimper. I was hoping it came from the rogue but I was wrong it came from Jordan.

    Before I could do anything Alisa and Hunter were on top of the rogue, protecting there father. I heard Hunter and Alisa growl in unison "we will not loose another father!"

   In one move they had broken the rogues neck and pushed him off there father. I began to run to them when out of no were a rogue hit Alisa and Hunter. Sending them flying back on the ground.

    My eyes widend with rage, this didnt just make me angry, it made Natasha and Logan mad as well. They both ran from where they were and and held their mates in their arms. I was not going to loose my family.  I looked up to see the rogue who had done this to them.

    When I saw his face I was angry because he just hurt my family, but also confused because I thought I had already killed this son of a gun when I was younger.

   When I looked up I saw the alpha of the rogues that I had killed so many years ago.

   I killed him, I swear I killed him. I heard his neck snap. I saw his lifeless form. How was this possible?

   My attention went back to my family when I saw him go twords Jordan and the kids. I could feal my eyes turn a dark blood thirsty red. My once pure white fure started to glow as bright as the moon.

   I jumped infront of Jordan's almost lifeless body. When the alpha took  another step closer I let out a menacing growl that could surly wake the dead.

   He came closer, as if he was testing me. All of a sudden a high pitched sound blared everywhere.  It hurt my ears like crazy.  I blocked the sound out, but when I looked back up all the rogues were gone.

   I let them go for now so I could help my family.  I turned back into my human form, thankfully there were clothes next to me, and i went to help my family.

  The kids were ok they just had a few miner scratches. When I looked at Jordan my heart broke into a thousand pieces.

  I couldnt stand the sight.  He was in human form and His lifeless body was on the ground with blood every were. I didnt know what to do. I fell on my knees and put his head on my lap.

    "I cant loose you please wake up....wake up" I was now crying my eyes out. I needed my mate, my kids needed him, they cant loose another father.

   I gave him one last kiss when suddenly he started to kiss back. I broke the kiss and looked at him. His drowsy eyes began to open. I looked at his chest and it was completely healed.

   "Why are you crying angel and why did you break away from the kiss?" He asked quietly.

   I giggled at him and kissed him again. We broke away when Alisa and Hunter jumped on us. They had huge smiles on there faces

   We headed back to the house and decided to figure out were the helk our two packs went.

   With both families with only a few injuries we headed back to the pack house and went inside. We need to find the pack and I need to figure out how the rogues alpha survived.
