Chapter 24
Emme's POV
"I found them!!!!" Yelled Elizabeth excitedly. We were in the library at the pack house, looking for clues of how the rogues alpha survived and were our packs could be.
We all snapped our heads to her and she started to explain. " They went to the island of the moon goddess. Its the time of year that all werewolves go and celebrate there lives and finding there mates. If they havnt found there mate yet they are sure to find them there if they are of age."
I totally forgot about that, our pack goes every year and stays there the entire 3 month's. This means that we cant contact them even through mind link untill the end of the three months.
"When did it start? And when does it end?" Jordan asked. We looked back to Elizabeth who was looking in the book to see. "It starts at the beginning of May and ends the last day of July."
Crap it was only the 5th of may we have the whole time by our selves, with absolutely no help from ether pack's. So I guess its up to us alone to take down the rogues.
We all looked at each other, it was the 4 of us against a entire pack if rogues. Thankfully we were the best team ever. We are mates and best friends, nothing can harm us if we stick together.
"Ok so its us 4 against the rogues, sounds fun!" Tamer joked. "Excuse me, I think you mean all 8 of us, against the rogues, we are so fighting with you." We turned around to see Hunter standing next to logan, Natasha, and Alisa. They were all crossing there arm's.
"Sorry kids but we cant let you do that its to dangerous. None of you know how to fight and you haven't been trained." I explained.
They all just rolled there eyes and went to play, or what ever it is that they do. Meanwhile we had to figure out how that stupid rogue alpha survived.
I was flipping through the pages of a book when I heared a strange noise. I walked up the stairs to the highest part of the library were we store the really old books. I went around a few corners till the voice sounded as if it was right next to me.
I look around but I cant see anyone. When I turn to go back, a book from the top shelf fell infront of me. I picked it up dusting it off. It was really heavy and dusty like no one had touched it in centuries.
The cover read:
THE CURSED ROGUES
I didnt even look inside it, as I ran down to were everyone else was and showed them the book. They all looked at it as if it had all the answers we needed.
We opened the book, on the first page held our first answer. It was a picture of the rogues alpha. At the bottom of the picture was a small blue button.
Funny I dont remember books having buttons. I pushed the button and a holographic girl with blue eyes and brown hair came out of the book. She stood there for a moment then spoke.
This is the one and only rogue alpha who can not be killed easily. He was born a rogue, raised as a rogue, and lives as a rogue. His mate was kiddnaped and tacken away from him by force.
This immortal alpha has been looking for his mate for centuries. He does not age and he does not sleep. He will not rest untill he finds his mate.
We waited for a moment then the girl spoke again.
The only way known to man and werewolf to cure this alpha is for the moon goddess herself to confront him and show him were to find his mate... if she is still alive that is. The moon goddess picked a young she-wolf to complete this task. At the time in which the she-wolf is needed to assist you a mark will appear on her arm. Find the she-wolf and he will finally be free.
The only known place that the alpha will go and stay is his homeland. Navia. Please help this alpha. He may be cruel on the outside but he is a loving person when he is with his mate.
The projection fell and we all just stood there for awhile. A piercing scream jolted us out of the silence. It took me only a moment to realize the death scream came from me. The pain became very srong and very clear. It felt like someone was seting my arm on fire and piercing it with a thousand needles. I looked down at the middle of my arm.
There in the center was a marking. It was a picture of two cliff's with a moon in between them. On one cliff sat a female wolf howling at the moon. On the other cliff sat a male wolf also howling at the moon. I realized that the two wolf's were mates. One was the rogue alpha and the other was his mate.
Jordan was by my side now and every one looked at my arm. We all looked at each other in disbelief. I was the she-wolf the moon goddess picked to help these two.....but why?
After awhile we all ran up the stairs to find the kids. We ended up not reading or hearing the rest of the book, we had all the information We needed.
We told the kids to stay in the house and to answer the door for no one. We got everything that we needed and headed out to find the rogue alpha.
We were going to have to run a long ways to get were we needed to go.
