Chapter 35

Jason's POV:

When we got to the house I didn't even let Alfredo pull the van to a complete stop. I just threw my seatbelt off, opened the door, and jumped out. I stumbled, but caught myself.

I ran into the house and I could hear Kiera freaking out coming from downstairs. I quickly ran downstairs to where our new and improved medical room is.

I followed the sound of where all the commotion was coming from.

"KIERA! IM COMING BABY GIRL!" I yelled with tears coming out of my eyes.

I had gotten to the door and about to walk in when Greg walked out and held his hand up for me to stop.

"Greg let me in there!"

"You'll be able to go in once I explain what's going on."

"Then tell me what's going on!" I was getting so impatient.

"Okay Jason don't freak out, but Kiera is in labor." My mouth dropped.

"Try to calm her down and keep her relaxed Jason." I ran my fingers through my hair and put my other hand on my hip.

Greg put his hands on my shoulders. "Jason you can do this." He smiled at me and motioned for me to come in.

I saw Kiera and she looked like she was in so much pain. The first thought that went through my head was I caused this.

I was interrupted when I heard Kiera. "J-Jay!"

I smiled and walked over to her. She grabbed my hand and held it. "Babe your going to be okay. I'm right here with you. You just need to breathe."

She started to relax a little and Greg told her that he's about ready.

"I hurt! Please get this thing out of me!" I kind of chuckled and looked at Greg who smirked a little. Yeah I might be 19 and him be 24 but we still have a pretty good friendship.

"Okay Kiera when I say push your going to need to push." Kiera just nodded and started breathing hard.

"Baby girl your okay. I'm right here." I was trying to calm her down.

"Alright Kiera I need you to push and give it all you got." Kiera instantly tightened her grip on my hand and began to push and cry.

I was sure my hand would be broken before all this is over with. I think I'm going to train her to fight when all this is over haha she's pretty strong.

"Baby your almost there just keep pushing." I was trying to encourage her.

"Kiera your so close come one Sweety one more big push should get us there." I heard Greg and looked at Kiera who was giving it all her might.

She let out a scream and she was completely out of breath. It didn't take long though until we heard a baby crying. I smiled and looked at Kiera who was crying.

I saw Greg rush off with the baby to clean him off.

"Baby good job you did it!" I gave her a smile and kissed her forehead.

"J-Jay that hurt!" She groaned and laid her head back against the pillow to relax.

Pretty soon Greg walked in with the baby wrapped in a blanket.

He handed to baby to Kiera. "Here's your mini McCann Kiera." He sent her a smile and cleaned her up.

He put a hand on my shoulder. "I'll let you two have some time with your new addition."

He walked out and I sat in a chair besides the bed and looked at Kiera and the baby.

"What are we going to name him Kiera?" She looked at me confused.
