Kiera's POV:

I opened my eyes slowly and looked at my bedside clock. It was 5:00. Dang I slept like 3 hours.

I needed to fix supper so I got up and looked in the mirror first to see if the make up covering my eye was still okay.

Which it was, but I could barely keep that eye open it hurt so bad. My stomach ached and I still had a little bit of a hard time breathing.

I was still going to hide it though. I had an idea. I grabbed my sunglasses and put them on.

Jason knows how much I love my sunglasses so it shouldn't be a problem.

I walked out of our room and headed down the hallway when I ran into Jason.

"Oh hey babe." I got on my tip toes and left a kiss on his cheek.

He kind of laughed. "What why are you laughing?"

"Kiera, I know you like sunglasses, but why are you wearing them in the house?"

"I um just really like this pair." I smiled at him.

"But babe your eyes are so pretty and I don't care If you do like them I want to see your eyes."

I looked down. "Do I have to?"

He gave me a pouty face.

"Fine." I slid them off and just looked down so he couldn't look at me directly.

"Kiera look at me."

"I'm good. Uh I think I will go fix supper now." I walked past him when he put his arm in front of me jabbing into my stomach.

I gasped and put my arm on my stomach.

"Kiera what's wrong?" He turned me around to look at him.

His eyes widened. "What happened to your eye?!?"

"I uh-" he cut me off.

"Are you wearing make up by any chance."

I knew I was busted so I didn't even try to argue.

"Yes, yes I am." He grabbed my wrist and we walked to the bedroom.

He pointed to the bathroom. "Go take it off."

"But Jason-"

"NOW KIERA."

I walked into the bathroom with my head down and grabbed a rag to wipe my face off. Wincing whenever I would touch around my eye.

Once my face was completely clean I looked into the mirror and my eye looked horrid. It was all different shades from brown to black , to even purple in some spots.

I walked over to Jason still looking to the floor and stood in front of him.

"Kiera, babe look at me."

"I-" I was about to refute when he took his finger under my chin and lifted my face up to face him.

"Kiera." I could tell he was trying to stay calm. "Is there anywhere else I should know about?"

I sighed and slowly lifted up my shirt.

He kneeled down to be able to look at my stomach directly and just lightly put his hand on my stomach on the bruise. I hissed at the pain that his hand caused.

He slowly pulled his hand away and looked up at me then back at my stomach.

He stood back up and I just stared at the ground.
