Chapter Six

Kristen's POV

My mother took the kids for two weeks on a vacation yesterday and today my vacation time started. “What am I going to do now?” I thought and looked at my phone. “I'll call my friend and make them go on a vayka with me!” I unlocked my phone and called my bestie Raul. “Krissy?” “Hey what are you doing?” “Nothing, I'm off of work for two weeks so I thought we go on a vacation.” “Where are the kids??” “Mom took them to Canada.” “Oh so where are we going honey?!” “I was thinking Abu Dhabi.” “Yes honey! Who else is going?” “I was going to call Miguel and Shelby?” “Sounds like a good time!! I'm going to pack my shit, call me and I'll book the tickets. I called Shelby and Miguel and they all said that they were ready too so I packed and booked the hotel. Raul got the tickets then we all said that we'd meet at the airport.

Jason's POV

While I was waiting for my show I decided to hang out with the guys. While I was doing that I got on Instagram but that got boring so I got off. I was talking to the guys when my cousin Dale came over to me. “What's up?” “Do you have Snapchat?” “No why?” “Nothing I just thought it was funny.” He walked away so I took my phone back out. I downloaded the Snapchat app and made up an nickname. It asked for my contacts so I gave it permission. While I was scrolling through to see who to add I saw that Kristen had an account. “PurpleEmpire?” I mumbled and added her. I added Dale and some other people then closed the app. I put my phone in my pocket and got ready to hit the stage. After my show the guys and I went out and had a few drinks then we headed back to our buses and headed out. I got my phone and sat at the table. While I was on Instagram a Snapchat notification popped up. I went to Snapchat to see what that was about. “Ugh.” It just said that Lexie accepted me. I went to see what else it said and I saw that Kristen accepted me too. “I'll just go and see what she posted.” I mumbled and pressed her picture and her story started. The camera was pointed at Kristen and she was sitting in a chair looking to her left. She had on a bikini top and something covering her waist. “Damn.” I thought. “Kris!!” A guy started and she looked at him. “Huh?” “Show me what them hips do.” He started singing that Jeremih song Oui and she started grinding her hips slowly. “It’s a trap.” I mumbled and kept watching. Kristen's whole Snapchat story basically consisted of her either dancing seductively, twerking, drinking and being half dressed with her friends. Who I'm guessing are two gay guys and another woman. I'm definitely not complaining at all because Kristen is beautiful. I was about to exit out of Snapchat when I saw I had a message so I went and looked at it. It was a message from Kristen. “Who is this?” “Jason.” I responded and it looked like she responded instantly. “No it's not.” “It is.” I kinda laughed. “Prove it.” “How?” “Send me a video.” “Ok.” I looked at Dale. “Dale how do I send private videos on Snapchat?” He showed me and I sent her one. “Oooh Hi Jason!!!” “Hi.” I started laughing. “Facetime me.” “Ok.”

I closed the app and facetimed her. “Hi Jasoooon!!” She smiled. “Hey.” “What are you doing?” “Nothing, what are you doing?” “Just hanging out with some friends.” “And twerking.” I added and she started laughing. “A little bit.” “Why didn't you believe it was me?” “With the whole queen jellyfish deal everyone wants to know everything you're doing so it's hard to have privacy.” “Trust me I understand.” “So that's your private account?” “Yeah, I have like 6 friends on that one.” “Oh I totally understand trying to get a piece of mind.” “Yeah..” A woman came into the frame and started twerking. “Shake that ass.” A guy said and Kristen turned and looked at the girl. “My friend can see you.” She laughed and the girl ran. “Don't run Shelby he liked it!” “She was good at it.” I said. “Shut up Krissy.” “He said you were good at it!!” She whined and I started laughing. “Get back over here and bounce that ass.” I was dying laughing at her. “I'm just playing.” She kinda laughed. “You need help.” I exhaled. “So what are you doing?” “I just got off stage, now I'm on my way to the next place.” “I'm so Happy for you Jason.” “Why?” “Because your dreams of being a musician came true.. I remember how we use to sit and talk for hours about how all of that would happen.” “Yeah. I remember you were the only person who believed in me and my dreams.” “Yeah it's crazy but I'm glad it happened for you.” “Thank you Kristen.” “You're welcome.” She smiled. “Do you know any of my songs?” I smirked and she started laughing. “Yeah..” “Big green tractor doesn't count.” “Well I guess it's a good thing that I know more of them than that one.” She frowned and I started laughing. “Let's hear one.” “Now?” She pouted. “Yes.” “Ugh fine, On my highway the yellow lines, Have disappeared from time to time, And I've wound up on the wrong side of the road. On my highway I've gone to fast, Afraid that I might finish last, I hooked a curve too hard and lost control, Oh I never know which way it's gonna go.” I totally forgot that Kristen could sing so I was basically sitting there dumbfounded. “Happy?” She giggled and turned her head. “I totally forgot that you could sing.” I said and she started laughing. “What?” “Nothing.” “Tell me.” “I was just thinking how crazy it is seeing you after all of this time.” “Oh.. Is it weird for you?” “At first seeing you was strange but now not so much. Was it weird for you?” “No I just couldn't believe it was really you.” “Oh.” “Especially now since we both have kids.” “Yeah that's crazy.” “Your son is hilarious.” “Hilarious huh?” She kinda laughed. “He called Tristan a prissy little dill weed.” I started laughing. “Yeah I'm sorry.” “No, no it's fine.” “People usually say that he's a shock to the system.” “Nah he's a funny kid.” “I'm glad you like him after all that stuff happened.” “Yea it wasn't his fault and he tried to walk away.” “Thanks I really appreciate you saying that.” “No problem.” She got up and it looked like opened a curtain, it looked like it was day break where she was. “Where are you?” “Dubi.” “Really?” “Yeah, my mother took the kids to Canada so I decided to call up my friends and come here.” “Awesome.. I've never been there.” “Well the next time we come you're definitely invited.” “Really?” “Yeah, I don't see why not.. We could always use more company.” “Well I'll have to take you up on your offer.” “Good, I hope you do.” she smiled. “Oh are you still friends with Bryan Codwell?” “Yeah.. Well I mean I don't know. I haven't see him in a very long time.” “Oh..” “Are you?” “Well I don't know.. I lost a lot of friends when my husband passed.” “Really?” “Yeah..” “What happened?” “It's a long story Jason.” “Well I have a whole lot of time.” “I'll tell you when.. Hi!” She waved so I looked up, dale was stand beside me. “Hey.” He smiled. “That's my cousin..” “Dale?” “Yeah you remember?” “Yeah he looks the same.” “Kristen?” He looked at me. “Yeah.” “Nice, I follow her on Instagram.” He said walking away. “It seems like everyone I know follows you on Instagram.” “Queen jellyfish is pretty popular.” “Talking about yourself in 3rd person is crazy gurl.” A guy said and I started laughing. “Shut up Raul.” “So what made you make the queen jellyfish account?” “My friend Raul is actually a youtuber and an Instagrammer and he said I was funny and that I should make videos. I'm not really into YouTube but I thought Instagram could be fun so I let him make me the page. It took off way more than I expected.” “Really?” “Yeah I thought I'd get a few people here and there to laugh.. I never thought I'd be this person with 27 million followers and people inviting me to do important stuff like modeling and going to the Brit awards.” “Really?” “Yeah it's surprising and humbling…” “What do you want for breakfast?” A guy asked. “Hold on Jason.” “Ok.” She looked to her right so I'm guessing she was looking at the guy. “Um.. Anything with bacon and sausage is fine.” “Bacon and sausage? Ugh you're the reason I'm fat.” “What?” She laughed. “Because now I have to get the eggs and hashbrowns so we can share.” “Ok.” She smiled showing off her dimples. “Ugh you get on my nerves.” I'm guessing he walked pass because I saw a person walking past the camera. “Oh Miguel?” “Mhm.” “I want apple juice.” She whined. “I know that!” He yelled and she started laughing. “Ok pookie.” She looked at me. “Sorry about that Jason.” “It's alright.. I like your dimples.” “Stop it.” She blushed. “It's true, they are amazing.” “Thank you.” She tried to hide her smile with her hand. “Don't hide those dimples from me.” “Jason stoopp.” She was still blushing. “No.” I laughed and she frowned. “So what do you and your friends have planned?” “Well I'm going to hang out on the beach for a while then we'll probably hit up some of these Abu Dhabi night clubs.” She started dancing. “Sounds good.” “You're about to go to sleep?” “Probably after I take a shower.” “Sounds good.. Where's our sweet tart?” I started laughing. “She wasn't feeling being on the bus for a month.” “Oh she goes out with you often?” “Not really bus being on the bus gets a little old.” “Ooh.. as your new bestie you'll have to invite me out with you and our sweet tart.” I started laughing. “I guess that means no huh?” “No you can definitely come out with me but I don't think sweet tart would approve.” “Oh she's one of the people who doesn't believe in males and females being friends?” “I'll have to ask her, her stance on that.” “So what's her deelee?” “Her deelee?” I kinda laughed. “Yeah.” “She's cheated on me so she's insecure.. So I'm sure saying ‘hey babe this is my pretty bestie, she's going on the road with us.. Enjoy!’ won't go over well with her.” “Oh.” “What?” “I was..” “Them hash browns are on point.” A guy said. “You ate without me?” “No I just had a bite, shut up.” The guy said and she started laughing. “Sorry Jason.” “It's ok.” “I'm gonna let you go so I can be fat.” She smiled and I started laughing. “Alright.” “I'll talk to you later?” “Yeah.” “Ok.” We hung up and I exhaled. “Soo Kristen huh?” Dale started. “What?” “I'm just surprised you're talking to her again.” “What's wrong with talking?” “Nothing, nothing at all.” He smirked and I shook my head.

Kristen's POV

My friends and I were playing around on snapchat when I noticed a name I didn't recognize. “Slimflexin?” I sent the account a message to see who it was then found out it was Jason. I ended up talking to him for about an hour then my friends and I decided to get our day started. After sightseeing I went back to the hotel and got my bikini on and went to the beach. My friends said that they would come after shopping so I laid out and got on Snapchat. I took a few pictures and made a few videos then I decided to just hang. Not to long after that Shelby, Raul, and Miguel came and set up next to me. “So who was that man you spent an hour talking to?” Miguel asked. “Jason, he's just a guy I was friends with in high school.” “Really?” Shelby smirked. “We dated for a year and a few months.” “Really?” They all looked at me. “Don't get excited he treated me like crap.” “Then why are you talking to him now?” “He is a nice guy and I'm not trying to date him so I don't really see a problem.” “What's his name?” Shelby asked. “Jason.” “Mhm.” “Well I liked his laugh.” She giggled. “And he has some cute cheeks.” Raul stated. “Yeah.. They are cute.” We all laughed and talked about random stuff.
