Chapter Five

A/N I know this chapter is a little bit boring but just bear with me I'm just setting up a few storylines. I promise it'll make sense later.

Kristen's POV

Today I woke up to Jackson and Cassie getting in my bed. “Hey.” I said sitting up. “Hey mom.” Jackson started and looked at the baby. “Y'all are up early.” “No work today?” “Nope I'm off today baby.” “Cool! We need to go to the market.” He frowned and I kinda laughed. “I know, we'll go later alright?” “Yes.” “For now I'll just make some eggs and sausage.” “Ok.” I went and made the kids something to eat and while they were eating I went and took a shower. When I finished I got dressed then told Jack to take a shower. While he was doing that I gave Cassie a bath. “Alright baby, now you're all clean.” I dried her off and got her dressed then her Jack and I left for the market. When we got to the market I was getting the stuff that I needed and that Jack wanted when Shelby came over to me. “Hey bae.” She said hugging me. “Hey hun, what's up?” “Nothing at all.. These damn kids.” “What happened?” I laughed. “Girl they don't want to see their father so now they are eating me out of a house and a home. This is my fourth time coming to this damn market.” “Damn, they don't want to see him at all?” “Girl no, they feel like he completely disregarded their feelings and right now they just don't want to see him.” “Well they have the right to feel that way.” “I know but I need a damn vacation.” We ended up walking around the market and talking for a little while. On our way to checkout Shelby said she needed to get milk so I told her that I'd be in the bread aisle. She said ok so Jack Cassie and I headed to the bread. “Mom can I get some gummy worms?” Jack asked. “Sure, get the um.. Fruit gummies for Cass.” “Alright!” He walked away and I went looking for my favorite kind of bread. “I don't know why I still come here.. They never have Sara Lee whole wheat.” I mumbled. “Hey.” I looked up and saw Jason and his youngest daughter. “Hi baby.” I messed with her cheeks. “Hi! You have a lot of stuff.” “I know.. Feeding boys is a lot of work.” I smiled and looked at Jason. “Hey Jason.” I hugged him. “How are you?” “I'm alright, how are you today?” “So so..” Keeley and Jackson came into the aisle. “Aw feel better..” “My dad said that he's gonna get pizza and I can have some friends over. Wanna come?” “Nah.. One night of Tristan and his parents are enough for me.” “He's not coming, just me and my friends.” “Oh let me ask my mom.” “Hey mom.” “Sure if it's alright with Mr Williams.” I looked at Jason.” “Of course you can come.” “Thanks.” He said putting his stuff in the cart. “What time should he be there?” “6.” Keeley smiled. “Ok honey.” They started to walk away so Jason looked at me. “I think my daughter has a crush on your son.” “I..” “Daddy!” Keeley started and I kinda laughed. “What?” He looked at her. “Why would you say that??” She looked embarrassed. “I am so sorry about my dad.. You know he's old.” She was beet red. “It’s ok.” Jack laughed. “Um.. I'm gonna take my dad home.. So we're going to see you later..” “It's ok but alright.” She pulled Jason away and Jack came over to me. “Well.” I smiled and he shook his head. “Should I take something?” “We should have asked..” “I'll just text her.” He said taking her phone. While we were waiting for a response we went to find Shelby and walked around. “Mom she said they have everything.” “Alright then baby let's go.” “Ok.” We went and checked out.

Jason's POV

“Daddy!!” Keeley whined. “I was just saying honey.” “I don't have a crush on him.” She frowned. She whined all the way out to the truck. “Well I think you do.” “That's fine daddy, you can think that.. You just can't tell him!” She shook her head. “Well I wasn't trying to tell him.. I was telling his mom.” “Daddy.” She shook her head and put the last bag into the car. “Honey if you don't like him it should be fine.” “Noo because now I have to explain to him that I don't like him like that.. Daddy I can't tell you secrets now because of this.” “Honey?” I looked at her. “Don't you think you're being dramatic?” “No because now I'm going to worry about you telling people if I tell you something.” “Ok honey I'm really sorry. If you ever tell me any of your secrets I promise I'd never tell them ok?” “Are you sure?” “Yes.” “Ok.” “Alright.” We got in the car and went home. After we put the groceries away the girls and I decided to watch a movie. After the movie went off Keeley's phone beeped and she looked at it. “Queen jelly!” She mumbled and Kendyl went and sat next to her. “What?” “I don't know yet.” “Hi guys!!” I heard Kristen say. “I know I'm kinda just popping up on you guys, sorry baes. Y'all are probably like ‘who do you think you are popping up on me like this queen jelly? You don't know me.’ I'm sorry.” “You don't know me.” The girls repeated and I kinda laughed. “But!! I just wanted to tell my bae’s that my site is restocked. We have more shirts, more shorts, tank tops, swimsuits if you're into that..” “Beanie's!!” Kendyl said and Keeley agreed. “Visors.. And I don't know what's wrong with y'all requesting these beanies in the summertime BUT WE GOT THEM!! In all different colors! Blue, red, yellow, black, purple, pink, GREEN!!” “YEESSS!!” They looked at me. “Daddy can you order us some beanies from queen jellyfish please?!!!” “Yeah let's hurry before they sell out again.” “I'm sorry queen jelly we gotta get to your website!!” Keeley said closing her live. I ordered all of the stuff that the girls wanted before it sold out. When I finished I had spent over $200 but the girls were happy. “We're gonna have to talk to her about getting some free stuff.” I said. “You think she'll give us free stuff daddy?” Kendyl asked. “Maybe if we ask.” The stuff on the website was cheap, what brought the am out up was how much of the same stuff the girls wanted so I'm not really mad about the order. Around five Keeley and Kendyl’s friends started to show up so I gave them chips and juice until the pizza got here.
