Our Perfectly Imperfect Story (Chessa Story)

Chapter 2

Tessa

This guy is interesting. We seem to open up to each other very easily. I don't know why, but I don't care.

It's fun to finally have someone to talk to about this. My friend hasn't been the easiest to talk to.

For the first few months of living with her, it's been fine. We never really argued about anything. She was so welcoming.

Then I feel like over the course of those months. She just didn't want me there.

I understand though. I'm living at her place for free eating all her food, raising the electricity bill.

It's not like I don't want to leave, it just that I have no where else to go.

Obviously.

So right now Chance and I are at the small café at the west side of town. And I'm really enjoying his company.

"Haha did you really?"

"Yeah, hit the guy right where it hurts."

"Yeah that's gonna teach him."

"Yeah it did."

"There's something about you Tessa. It feels so nice to talk to you. Like I have nothing to lose."

"Oh ok, what am I chopped liver?"

"No, not like that. I mean that it feels like nothing else is going on around me. Like its no one here but you and me. And I like that."

"Same. I really do. It's always nice to get away from everything."

We just sat there just staring at each other. Didn't even realize that we were holding hands.

"Oh uh, tell me your story." I reluctantly released his hand.

Taking notice he pulled away as well.

"I told you the gist of it while we were walking here."

"Alright I guess that's fair."

He gave me a smile like no other. Man he's hot.

So I went over the story with him. (I'm not going to repeat the story because I already did in the first chapter.)

"Wow. I'm so sorry. That's awful. I can't believe your mother would do that."

"Same. I still haven't talked to her."

"Wow really. It's kinda weird to say this but I wish I wasn't in touch with my parents. Always controlling my life."

"I don't know. Sometimes it's good to appreciate things when you have it."

"That's something to argue, but I agree."

I looked down at my phone, shoot I have to go.

"Chance it's been really fun. But I have to go."

"Oh, OK can I get your number? I would love to meet up again."

"Yeah, yeah definitely." I gave him his number and he walked me out. That's when I soon realized that I don't have a ride back.

"Oh um Chance I don't have a ride back. Could you maybe drop me off?"

"Sure, let's walk to my place and we can get the car."

We walked towards his place. I knew there were nice areas around the side where I live but it seems to be like he might live in luxury.

We stopped by a gate. He opened it with a code and we walked up. His house is not even a house, it's a mansion.

"Wow your place is huge!"

"Yeah, want to take a look?"

"Maybe next time but I really have to go."

"Alright."

Chance

I took her to one of my cars and we got inside. The drive to her place was quiet, but comfortable. Her friends place is nice as well.

"I thought it would be smaller of its just you and your friend."

"Nah, she and her boyfriend moved in together and they want kids."

"Oh, ok. Uh, have fun with that."

"Oh, no worries. Once I get the money I'll move out. Thanks for the ride."

"No problem."

We just stares at each other and I don't know what came over me, but I grabbed her face and kissed her.

I quickly leaned back.

"I am so sorry I have no idea why I did that."

She didn't say anything else. She just grabbed my face and kissed me again.

We we're just making out, when we heard a knock on the car window.

We flinched back to see a girl standing there.

"Who's that." I said breathlessly.

"Kristine. Sorry I have to go. It's been really fun. Bye."

"Bye Tessa."

She got outside and walk in with her friend.

I drove home. Thinking about today.
