Hi guys! This chapter is dedicated to everyone who is still so invested in the book! haha I really appreciate the patience. It's so hard to get the time with college recently. But I just finished my Junior year semester sooo yay! I'm so excited to have finally gotten this back out to you guys. I've been meaning to get it published forever. I love this story so much. I hope to continue writing the next chapter over this week. My boyfriend is flying in next week, so I won't be able to do much writing then, but hopefully, I can get somethings done for this next chapter!

I know it took forever, but I do hope you guys enjoy this new chapter! Tell me how you like it and what you think is going to happen next, yeah? I absolutely LOVE hearing from you guys haha it's really fun and not to mention inspiring!

BTW! I just wanted to say that I absolutely love the fanart that I find for Rei. I always want to usually find fanart to post for my stories pictures because I think it adds some sort of cool feel to it and I really like the way other people interpert him. Especially if someone draws him kinda grown up. I love that haha I'm working on a piece like that and if any of you do fanart I WOULD LOVE TO SEE! I might even use it for one of my pictures haha because I love fanart lol

Anyway!

Without further delay,

ENJOY!~

Trying out a new relationship isn't always easy, of course, it isn't. You have to always check to make certain you aren't making any wrong moves that would offset or even offend the person you are acquainting yourself with.

However, with (Y/n), since she had already been my best friend before and I had known her so intimately for so many years, it actually hadn't been all that horrible to get comfortable with again.

The first couple of days it had been a bit awkward, trying to get her use to me and her trying to convince me multiple times that she was alright now and didn't need me to tiptoe around memories anymore.

It was now a couple of months into our friendship and I had gone back to my apartment in the city and she stayed in Iwatobi with Nagisa since she didn't want to be alone anymore. I had gone back and visited her a couple of times over those months, trying not to be too forceful in her life, no matter how much I wanted to be in it. I would generally go on the Friday's that I had gotten off of work early, made my way straight to the train to get there, and over the weekend we would spend most of our time together- much to Nagisa's excitement.

I hadn't planned on going to meet her this weekend, so I began to head home from work and I opened my door at exactly the same moment my phone vibrated. So, as I set my shoes to the side and hung my coat up, I pulled out my cell phone, seeing a new message from (Y/n) and a smile touched my lips.

From: (Y/n)

You should really come to Iwatobi this weekend...I know it's last minute. Sorry!

Her message had confused me and for a moment I was worried as I began to type back a response-

Sent to: (y/n)

Of course, if that's what you want...Are you alright?

I began packing as soon as I sent the message, grabbing a bag and folding a couple of shirts and a pair of jeans since it was getting colder now, then I felt my phone vibrate again.

From: (Y/n)

Yeah! I'm fine! Sorry to worry you! I just kinda miss you, I guess??

Then my heart raced and my cheeks felt hot as I read her words a second time, trying to comprehend if she knew just exactly what she sent me and how it affected me. My phone vibrated in my hands;
