Chapter 8.

Chapter 8 (Jenna’s P.O.V)

 

            When I got home it was only 8:27 pm according to my phone. My parents were home and had already eaten their dinner. I kissed them hello and went to my room to drop my shopping bags off. I didn’t get too many things, just some jeans and sweaters from Urban Outfitters and a new Hagelin jersey. He’s my favorite Rangers player and my old jersey was getting a little too tight on me.

            Once I had gotten ready for bed I pulled out my laptop and FaceTimed Troye. We talked for a good hour, practically screaming the entire time. Our inner fangirls could not be contained.

Troye went absolutely nuts over Luke DM’ing me. When I told him about Luke giving me his phone number he went even crazier.  The only reason we stopped talking was because Troye insisted I call Luke, so we said goodbye and I promised I would call him tomorrow.

            I was so nervous to call Luke that I texted him to make sure it was okay to call;

“Hey is it okay if I call now? I just wanted to make sure haha.”

He instantly replied, wow he was a great at texting. “Totally fine! I’m with all the guys and they all want to hear your reaction.”

 I couldn’t believe I was going to call all of 5 Seconds of Summer! I would be lying if I said I wasn’t excited to hear Ashton’s voice on the phone. He is my favorite member after all.

            He picks up on the fourth ring.

“Jennnnaaa!” I hear four Australian accents scream.

Oh my, their accents sounded so adorable even over the phone.

“Hey guys” I cheerily replied.

My inner fangirl was freaking out, but I had to keep calm, I didn’t want to scare the boys away!

“We’re all fangirling right now, we’re huge fans of your videos.” I heard Calum say.

“I can’t believe you guys like my videos! I’m a huge fan of your music! I’m kind of freaking out too.” I shyly replied and giggled.

They all laughed and I heard Michael say“ Don’t worry babe, it’s not like we’re going to bite you!”

Talking to them was so simple; it was like I had known them for years.

“You guys are so nice, haha, Luke, what did you want to tell me?”

I loved talking to them but I did have to go to bed soon.

“Oh right!” I heard Luke say.

“Mate, just tell her already, I want to go to bed.” I heard a cranky Ashton reply.

 He was the only one who didn’t sound happy during the call.

“Sorry about Ash, he’s jetlagged, we just got to our hotel in New York City.” Luke was so sweet, I was so glad he was talking to me.

“ I live in the city! How do you guys like it so far?”

“ It’s amazing! We’re so excited to preform next week!” Michael yelled.

“Speaking of preforming,” I heard Luke say.

I heard Calum whisper, “1…2…3…!”

“WE’RE GIVING YOU TICKETS TO OUR CONCERT!” They all yelled.

My heart caught in my throat, I was about to shriek, but I couldn’t wake up my parents.

“Are you serious?!” I whisper yelled.

“Dead serious!” Luke yelled. “ Three V.I.P. tickets so you can come see us at MSG next week and then meet all of us and One Direction!”

I was about to cry I was so happy.

“You guys are crazy! This is amazing ohmigosh, holler!”

“Glad to hear you’re happy.” Michael said. “ Text Luke your address, and we’ll send them to you.”

“Okay I’ll send it now! I hate to leave you guys but I need to sleep so I can wake up for school tomorrow!” I felt sad saying this, but I did have to go.

“Aw, well talk to us tomorrow! We’ll all follow you on twitter so you can DM us all.” Calum said.

I heard all the guys agree and then I got three twitter notifications saying they all followed me.

“Aw thanks guys, I’ll DM you all tomorrow once I get home from school.” They all said bye and then we hung up.

Before they hung up I heard Ashton say “Finally.”

Why’d he have to be such a jerk? I didn’t want to let his sour attitude ruin such great news, but I couldn’t help feel a little sad. Ashton was my favorite, and I had a huge crush on him, but he was such a jerk!

            Laying back on my bed, I text Luke my address and he replies with

“Thanks babe, you should get them in a few days. Can’t wait to see you and two of your friends. Text me tomorrow! xx”

Holy shit Troye was going to flip out, this was going to make his visit so much better! I was going to also invite Dave since he liked 5 Seconds of Summer so much. They were going to be so excited! I still couldn’t believe this was actually happening! I’m so lucky!

            It was almost 11 pm and I knew if I stayed up any later I wouldn’t be able to wake up in time for school. So I went to bed, dreaming about meeting my favorite band.
