"Hell no."

I rolled my eyes. "After all these years and you still manage to dress like a hobo. Have I taught you nothing?"
"Hey! Just because I'd prefer wearing sneakers and sweatpants to a party, doesn't make me a hobo." It's Friday and Charlotte and I are at the mall shopping for new outfits. Now I'm not the richest person in the world so I don't go all out with the designer stuff, not that they interest me anyway.

"Girl, we are going to AIDEN's house. He's loaded; you can't show up to his place dressed like you were raised behind a dumpster!" Charlotte lives and breathes fashion; her closet contains more clothes than Barbie which makes it almost to find new clothes for her because like, what doesn't she already own?
"Well, what else am I suppose to wear, it's not like I own anything 'cute'." Charlotte and I have been here for the last four hours to no avail. Charlie kept choosing these really short and tight outfits, but I will not have it.

Now we're at Forever 21 to try one last time to find me a cute outfit.
"Ok, fine!" Charlotte began, "Here might as well wear this. You can't go wrong with the little black dress." The dress she picked out went mid-thigh and was a lace strapless that fitted against my curves. She also gave me a pair of black wedges and clutch to go along with it. "Umm, I don't know. Don't you think it's a little much for a house party?" I asked. Don't get me wrong it's a cute dress, just not something you'd wear when your going to be surrounded by a bunch of drunk and horny teenagers.
"Nope, it's perfectly fine! Plus, we can match." Charlotte pulled out another black dress from the rack that was similar to mine, except it wasn't strapless. "So now let's pay for these and get home quickly. Don't forget we still have to do our makeup."
"You mean you have to do your makeup."
"No, our. Now hurry up and don't argue!"

"Stop moving!"

"It's not my fault you're poking me in the eye. I didn't want this!" For the past 30 minutes Charlotte has been attempting to do my makeup when I strictly said no. I hate it when people touch my face so it was the most uncomfortable thing ever.
"The wing needs to be even on both sides or else you'll look a clown."
"Ugh, just hurry up already, this shouldn't be taking so long!"
"Beauty takes time so suck it up!"

I sighed in frustration as Charlotte put the finishing touches on my face.
"See!" She said once she was done, "You look amazing! Now hurry your slow ass up we are going to be late." Did this bitch just call me slow? I thought. I wasn't the one taking 10 minutes just to put on one layer of lipstick.

As we went downstairs we were greeted by my mother.
"Hey girls, you both look gorgeous tonight."
"Thank you Ms. Roberts."
"Thanks mom."
"Alright girls have fun!" My mom said, "Oh and curfews at one! Don't do drugs, don't drink and don't be fucking anyone in a locked bathroom!"

"Mom!" I was completely surprised by my mom's language.
"Oh sweetie, I may be old now but I was teenager once and I know how high school parties work. I was the wild one in our group of friends actually. One time I got extremely hammered and found myself up against a wall an—"
"OK mom we're going." Oh no, my mind hurts. How does one wash ones brain with bleach after listening to that.
"Alright alright girls you can go. Oh! But if you do plan of 'getting it on' I have some pil—"
"MOM!" I yelled while Charlotte was cackling a dying hyena.
"Ok Im just protecting you sweetheart. You know without your father I have to play good and bad cop." I groaned. "Love you honey bye!"
"Bye mom."
