"Shut the fuck up."
Oh here we go...
"Shut up! You're lying."
"Nope."
"You are lying! There is no way. Are you serious?"
"I've been saying yes for the past half hour."
"You're kidding."
"Charlie, for the thousandth time, I'm not kidding."
"So this is real? I mean is this real life? It can't be, this has to be some parallel universe."
"Oh my God Charlotte!"
"Ok ok I'm sorry. But I just can't believe you, Vanessa Jane Roberts, are dating the Aiden Cooper."
"First of all, why is so hard to believe it's me? Second, for the last time we are not dating! It's just a game."
"Yeah, a game to see who falls for who first. I can just picture it already: Oh Aiden, I Vanessa, have lost this game. I can't resist you any longer. Kiss me..."
"Absolutely not. Nope. Never. Keep dreaming." It's been only two days since that whole 'date but not really a date' fiasco I had with Aiden.
"Come on! Give him a chance."
"I already said no. Besides, I'm pretty sure if I were to date someone, they have to be interested in me as well. I don't think Aiden sees me as more than just another piece of ass."
"Yeah yeah yeah whatever, we will definitely be finishing this talk later during lunch. Hey, do you need a ride to school today?"
"No not today, Caleb left early with with some of his teammates for football practice. I have to the car to myself."
"Oh alright. How about after school w—"
"Oh Charlie I'll see you at school, I'm getting texts from an unknown number."
"Kk girl, ciao!" I looked down at my phone to see several messages from a weird number.
Vanessa: Um who's this?
Unknown: The man of your dreams.
Vanessa: Oh I'm sorry I think you have the wrong number. You can't really categorize the guys in my life as men yet.
Unknown: Ouch princess. Your words cut through me like a knife.
Vanessa: How many times do I have to repeat myself, take it up with someone who cares.
In the meantime, I added Aiden to my contact list.
Asshole: So have to added my number to your phone yet?
