"One minute late to work! That is Outragous! Anyways, seeing that this is your first day here, I will let you off, this time...My name is Dr. Wenmore. It is pronounced as Wen-mor-ee. You are Dr. Nicky, am I right?" Dr Wenmore inquired. Nicky nodded, "We can't call you that. It's informal. Your second name?" Nicky's day mentor asked.
"Oh, erm...Douglas," she replied nervously, her heart beating fast. Nicky's legs shook fiercely beneath her lab coat, luckily, Dr. Wenmore didn't see. It was as if Nicky had palsy!
"Oookay..." The scientist said, checking her Clipboard. "You are kinda gonna be a babysitter today, checking on an unusual human person we found yesterday. Her name is Emma. You need to check her blood levels, her temperature, her behaviour...blah blah blah...It's all on the paper here...Your work starts after the lab tour. I will check on you every 2 hours, got it?"
"Yeah..." Nicky cried politely, grabbing the paper from Dr. Wenmore and inspecting the paper. Dr. Wenmore gestured Nicky to follow the tour. Nicky sighed deep inside. It was gonna be a long day...
