'Arrrgh! How do I escape this wretched cry!' May thought to herself in the plane. The cry seemed to ring through the whole of the hallway and funnily enough, it was the cry of a young baby. But not any baby, the baby in front of her. The baby in it's parent's arms right in front of her, resiliently tried again and again to climb over the seats.

Having approximately an hour and a half left, all passengers were given some food to eat. May pulled down the shelf table and placed her macaroni cheese bowl on it. The cabin crew then asked May what she would like to drink. With no doubt, May pointed to a green, mushy drink.
" You-a want-a the-a smoojie? The cabin attendant asked. The lady's accent was quite foreign but May was very lucky to understand it. The last time May had boarded a plane, the flight attendant didn't speak English and when she asked for a cup of orange juice, she was given a cup of beer.

May took her plastic fork and dug it into the depths of the warm macoroni cheese she placed it into her mouth and sighed. It was so hot and nice and she couldn't wait for the next bite. As soon as she took her next bite, a dummy fell onto her food and soon little fat legs, followed by a yellow dress, followed by chubby little arms and teensy fingers, and then a big, dribbling face, with minuscle bits of ginger hair on it's head and blue eyes. .. The baby had stepped onto May's food whilst the parent was sleeping. May groaned and called the flight attendant. The flight attendant came with a green smoothie and said sorry for taking quite a while. The flight attendant then looked at May's food and the baby. The baby cried and sat on the macoroni cheese bowl, making a big squelching noise at every move that the baby made and shortly after, made a big tantrum which woke up the baby's parents. May sipped her smoothie that was now warmer than room temparature. It was May's nightmare. Except in real life.

" Hello Passengers, this is the Pilot speaking. It is now 9:57 pm and we are on course, as planned. We are above the English Channel and will be arriving to the City airport in about 20 minutes. Another five minutes will be needed to take the landings. Please buckle your seatbelts and remain in your seats. "
May remained in her seat as the flight attendant cleaned up the baby and the mess. May wondered and questioned how One and a half hours quickly turned into 25 minutes. 'Anyhow, as they say: ' When you are having fun, time flies quickly'...' May thought to her self sarcastically.
