A voice was heard very close to her. A deep male voice then a woman's. The voices were not foreign but in her first language: English, just in a british accent. Emma attempted to wake up. But after many attempts she failed to do so. A needle was put into her hand and she was awake. The doctors thought she was fast asleep.
Emma gazed at the surroundings,
"Where am I?!" she asked, her voice all croaky and odd sounding. She looked at her surroundings again.
The scientists looked on and rushed ahead to the room in front of them while a lady,short and plump with terryfing, cold, black eyes, stayed behind with Emma.
" Nevermind that," she said, her face surprisingly looking at Emma's who was unbelievably awake, "Who are you?"
Emma was puzzled.
"Don't you think I am wondering that too? I don't have relatives or any family that will tell me the answer or any weird book or something...Do I? I...I don't...I..." Enma stared at the many cables wired to her arms, legs and hands, "WHAT?W..W... WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO ME?"
" Dr. Chong??? Wera?? Sweeney?? She's awake and is going to kill me! HELP! Quick!" The lady screamed. She turned to Emma with a dirty look on her face. "I knew it! You're an alien!"
"You are! You don't even know me!!!" Emma cried, her voice still like as raspy as frog.
Two other ladies came in.
"How'd she wake up?"
"She couldn't have woken up!! It was the strongest sleeping pill!" the other said.
A man came in.
And soon the room was full of people.
Emma screamed.
Soon she was at sleep again.
