Ness's PoV
It's been a few years since the last tournament and Onett has been surprisingly boring. Soon enough, all of the people wanting to meet you and complete strangers taking pictures and asking for autographs gets boring and tiresome.
I don't see Jeff, Paula and Poo much any more. They had to go back home. I try to visit them with my PSI teleport, but I don't know what times are the right times to show up. I walked in on Paula and her boyfriend kissing multiple times.
So when I received the letter inviting me back to the smash mansion, I was very glad.
"Dear Ness of Onett,
We hope you will return once again to the smash tournament. We have decided to broaden our horizon once again and invite new people to the tournament.
We will be awaiting your arrival with open arms."
"Mum! Smash is back on!"
