Aaron's POV

It's official.

Aphmau has gone insane.

She woke up talking about lava pits?

"Daddy! Cwan we gwo fow a walk in thwe fowest?" Lilith asked.

"Sure Lilith! Lets go!" I said and chased her.

"D-daddy.... awe theiw such thwings as gwosts..?" Lilith asked, looking a little off into a darker section of the woods.

"Ghosts don't exist, Lilith. If they did, I'd protect you from them." I said to her, calming her down ever so slightly.

I heard a soft sound coming from the direction Lilith was looking and she tensed up in fear.

"Daddy, it's cwoming cwoser." She said and backed up so that she was closer to me.

"Lilith, I'm sure it's nothing. Let's continue our walk, we can go down by the stream." I said and Lilith nodded.

As we continued our walk I heard a child crying.

I looked at Lilith and saw that she wasn't the one crying, instead she was looking around for the source of the sound.

As we continued walking we heard more crying.

This time it sounded like it was coming from two children.

"Lilith, wanna look for the source of those sounds?" I asked.

"Ywep! Advwentuwe twime!" She said and picked up a large stick.

"Why do you have a stick...?" I asked.

"To hwit thwem in thwe heawd if thwey cwome close to mwe!" Lilith said and put on a brave face.

After about half an hour of searching for the sound we found it.

In the middle of a clearing there was a pale and faded little boy, shushing a blonde little boy.

They were both crying.

"Hewwo...?" Lilith said as she approached them.

(The wild Lilith approaches her prey with a mighty stick!  😂😂😂 sorry, I had to!)

The faded little boy looked at her.

"Hello there. Can you help us? My name is Malachi and this is my brother Levin. We are lost. We are hungry. We need food." The faded boy said.

"Hwelp us pwease.." the blonde little boy said.

"How old are the two of you..?" I asked.

"I am six and Levin is five." Malachi said calmly.

"Daddy, cwan we twake thwem bwack to cwamp? Thwey said that thwey wewe (were) hungwy." Lilith said to me.

"Of course Lilith! We can't just leave them here! C'mon guys! Let's go get you some food!" I said and we ran through the forest as we tried to find camp.

Aphmau's POV

"I'm getting worried. It's been six hours and Aaron and Lilith STILL aren't back from their walk." I said to Cadenza worried.

"Aphmau, I'm sure their fine. If you want I can send Garroth and Laurence out to find them. Dante and Travis too. That way they could split off into groups of two and search the area faster." Cadenza said.

"No. I can't risk it. I don't want anyone to get lost out there. It's getting dark. I want to know that Lilith is safe. I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to her." I said.
