The weird girl

Garroth's POV

I saw that weird girl sitting by herself again.

I took a bite of my Apple.

(Nos tehs apples! Sorry I just had to. Barney with Apple's. XD  🐢🎂) 

I saw Dante, Travis, and Laurence laugh.

"Dude, remember ThatGuyBarney on YouTube? The Apple! Hahaha!"

Laurence said and the guys burst out laughing again.

"Yeah. I remember that!" I said laughing.

Then I looked at Aaron and saw him staring off in the direction of the weird girl by herself.

Does he know her?

"Aaron, do you know that weird kid?" I asked him.

He looked at me and said, "Yeah. Her name's Jessica. She's in my first and second period classes. Don't call her weird. She's only that way because her mother died two days ago." He said.

"Man.. that's deep.." Travis said.

I nodded and left Aaron alone.

Aaron's POV

I looked at Jessica and remembered what she had told me when I saw the photo.

"Thats my mom.. she died two days ago..." she had said.

But still... she was so quirky when she totally roasted Ivy in first period.

Maybe she just needs time.

Not that I'd want to be near her any way.

She's a loser.

A loner.

A weirdo.

A nerd.

No one wants to be friends with someone like that anyway.

After school...

Aphmau's POV

I walked home and took out my phone to take a first day if school selfie even though the school day was over.

I immediately texted it to my friends back in Scaleswind.

A boy with white hair walked up to me. "Hello there~" he said.

I just rolled my eyes and kept walking.

"Travis leave her alone! Jeez. It doesn't look like you'll have any luck with her anyway. She's a loser." His friend with dark blue hair said.

I clenched my fists.

"Dante! Just let me try! You know how much Katelyn hates me! Let me try with this girl!" Travis said.

Dante just shrugged. "Ok man. But if you die, I'm not goin' to your funeral." He said.

Tears welled up in my eyes.

Funeral... mom... her funeral is on Friday... I burst out in tears and ran away crying.

When I got to my house I slammed the door and locked it, running up to my room.

I looked at a picture of my mom again.

"Mom. I'm so so sorry. I never meant for you to get hurt.. I never expected him to kill you.. I should've just done what he wanted.. I'm sorry you had to die.. it's my fault. I'm the reason you and dad are dead. All because of me." I said out loud.

Then I stopped crying and called Jin.

"Hey Aph! Wassup? Did you see the surprise we left for you in your kitchen?" He asked.

"No, not yet. Something.. came up. So how was school for you guys back in Scaleswind?" I asked.

"It was boring without ya there to make it better. Wanna record?" He asked.

"Yea! I could really use something to cheer me up right about now." I said.

"Aphmau.. you okay?" Jin asked, his words laced with concern.

"I'm fine Jin. Let's just record. Get the guys together and let's begin." I said and we began to record.
