I paused.

"The person I like is you, Aaron Lycan. I've liked you since I met you, when you spoke to me in choir on my first day, when we sang together in choir a few days ago, everything we do together makes me feel.... something.. and I like it. I like how I feel around you. I enjoy every second I'm with you. You make me feel a way I've never felt before. I know you won't return the feelings but I just wanted to let you know how I felt. I was just answering your question anyway." I said, surprised that I didn't stutter at all.

I didn't wait for Aaron to respond.

I just stares into his eyes and started singing about how I wanted things to be between us.

I looked up at Aaron and gazed into his deep black eyes.

At the same time he gazed into my hazel eyes.

"Aphmau, I'm sorry if it's sudden, but, would you like to go on a date with me after this camping trip is over..? I understand if you say no--" he said.

I cut him off by saying, "why would I say no?"

I blushed and looked down.

That's when I noticed that the amulet around my neck was glowing.

My vision grew blurry and everything grew dark.

I was back in the dream realm.

Well, my subconscious was anyway.
