Surprise visitor

Aaron's POV

After Aphmau and I got Lilith to sleep, we chatted with everyone downstairs.

"Sooo... Halsey, right?" I asked the girl that had mysteriously showed up

She nodded and blew her hair out of her eyes.

"How--- why are you here?" I asked and Aphmau slapped my arm.

"Aaron! Don't be rude!" She exclaimed.

"It's alright Aphmau, I don't mind. I bet you all have questions as to why I'm here." Halsey said calmly.

"Halsey came to me in a dream and informed me about something going on. Basically, she needs my help to save the world." Aphmau said.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door.

"I'll get it!" Ross said and ran to the door.

"Aww, hello there you little squirrel!" A familiar voice exclaimed.

My eyes widened and I ran to the door.

"Aaron! How nice to see you again!" The person said.

"What are you doing here, Melissa?" I snapped and she winced.

"I came to speak with Ofmau." She said and I mentally facepalmed at how much she mispronounced her name.

"It's APHmau." I corrected harshly.

"Aaron? What's going on?" Someone asked from behind me.

"Nothing." I growled and Aphmau flinched, "Sorry, It's just-- my sister, Melissa, is here, and we're not exactly on good terms since she's always trying to get me to go back to Falcon Claw and be a part of the family business."I said and hugged Aphmau.

"Your scary sometimes." She pointed out and I sweat dropped.

Am I?

Am I really?

"Aaron. Wha---" Melissa started but Aphmau and I cut her off.

"We're dating." We said and Melissa just about died.

Literally.

She stood there like a statue and there was a looooong awkward silence.

All of a sudden she let out a VERY high pitched squeal and sky rocketed.

It was actually pretty scary.

Worse than Kawaii~chan scary.

"MMMYYYY SSSHHHIIIPPP!!!" She screeched and started flipping out as she took thousands of pictures.

"How can she take that many pictures...?" Aphmau whispered as she stood on her tip toes.

"I have NO idea." I whispered back, bending down to get to her level.

She's short, A'ight?

"Aaron! Stop talking to the readers!" Aphmau said.

Busted.

"So, Melissa. Why ARE you here anyway?" I asked and she stopped taking pictures.

"Oh, I came to tell you that dad doesn't care if your in the family business anymore. Mom and dad just care about your happiness. They want you to get good grades in your final year of highschool, get a college scholarship, get married, have kids, be with your true love. They want you to be happy, Aaron. Besides, I am! My boyfriend and I are going to paris for two weeks!" She squealed.

"Who's your boyfriend?" I asked, trying not to laugh.

Melissa has never had a relationship in her life!

"Gene Grey!"

Okay...

So she's had ONE relationship in her life.

"Didn't Gene cheat on you when you were in middle school?" I asked and she nodded.

"Yeah, but we're in college now. I'm giving him another chance." She said.

"Well, Aaron and I are happy for you." Aphmau said.

"Aph! I've got Levin and Malachi! They've been dying to see you again!" A voice said, and I saw Azura wave to Aphmau as the little rascals ran to hug her.

"Mama!" They screamed and hugged her.

"Levin! Malachi! Shhh! I love you guys, but your sister is sleeping!" She said and hugged them.

"I'll go get her." I said as I heard Lilith wake up.

I ran upstairs and saw Lilith staring at me, tears in her eyes.

"Lilith? Sweetie, what's wrong?" I asked and sat on the edge of her little bed.

"I had a bad dweam." She whispered and buried her head into my arm.

"What was it about?"

"Y-ywou died. . . A mean guy camwe aftwer ywou and ywou died...!" She cried and I picked her up, carrying her downstairs to where Aphmau and Melissa sat on the couch.

"Aaron. I have questions. Answer them--- Oh! She's crying!" Melissa said  and Aphmau quickly took Lilith from my arms and shushed her gently.

"Aph, you need to sleep. I'll spend the night and look after the kids. You just rest." I said and got Lilith back in my arms, sitting on the couch and setting Lilith next to me, her head in my lap.

"Fine, Aaron. But only cuz I luv you." Aphmau muttered and went to bed.

"So~?" Melissa asked, "When were you gonna tell me you had kids with Aphmau~?"

I mentally gagged at how dirty minded Melissa is.

"Melissa! We didn't--- they're not---- ugh! Aphmau and I adopted them. We didn't have them. We are in highschool!" I said and she had an 'oh yeah' look.

She's not very smart.

"Daddy? Awe ywou staying hewe tonwite?" Lilith asked.

"Yes, sweetie, I'm spending the night. You and your brothers can come over tomorrow while Aph 'saves the world' with her friend Halsey." I said.

"Oh owkay." She said and fell asleep in a tiny ball in my lap.

"Your a good adoptive dad, Aaron." Melissa said and stood to leave.

"I'll be around. Bye Aaron. Tell Aphmau I say hi." Melissa said and left.

I closed the door after she left.

Then a crash and a car alarm blaring.
