moving day

Aphmau's POV

I put the last of my things in the moving van and hugged Ross, Max, Sky, Barney, Jin and the rest of the team goodbye.

I listened to a nightcore song on my phone while I finished putting my things in the moving van.

"I'll miss you guys so much!" I said hugging them one last time.

"Wes wills miss yous toos Aphmaus! Donts forgets abouts us!" Barney said and hugged me again.

"I won't!" I said and got in the car.

"Bys Aphmaus! Makes sures yous meets nices dirts!" Barney said.

I laughed.

He likes to call people dirt.

"Bye guys!" I said.

"Bye Aphmau!" They all called out.

"Bye Ross!" Ross called out to get attention.

We all laughed one last time.

I was moving to the small town of Phoenix Drop today.

That's where my mom said to go before she died.

"You'll fit in there.." she had said before dying.

I missed her.

I always will.

But she said her best friend lives there with her sons who go to the same highschool I am going to go to.

At her new house...

It's huge! My new house is so pretty!

My eyes started to sweat.

I wasn't crying!

Something just... got in my eyes.

I ran my fingers along the circular bush in the front yard.

My mom had bought this house before she died.

Now I'm left to take care of myself.

I wipe away the tears... I mean sweat!

A dog barked by my leg and I smiled.

I pet the dog and it wagged it's tail happily.

Then it's owner called for it and the dog ran off.

Time to go inside.

I went to my room that was purple.

"Of course it's purple." I smiled to myself.

My mom already had furniture put in before she died.

This time a tear rolled down my face as I remembered how excited mom was to have the house of her dreams waiting for years to buy it.

This house looks expensive but for my family it's nothing.

I set up my computer and recording equipment so I could still make YouTube videos.

I looked outside.

It was getting dark.

I ordered a pizza and had some of that for dinner and changed into my unicorn onesie for bed.

I face planted on my bed when my phone rang.

I just looked at it on the dresser across the room.

Too... far...

I eventually dragged myself over to the dresser and grabbed my phone.

And I mean literally dragging myself.

Like, sliding across the floor because your too tired and lazy to get up.

I answered the phone. "Hello?" I asked.

"Aphmaus! Hows ares  yous?" Barney asked.

"I'm doing Rossome!" I said.

I heard some yelling in the background. "Sky! Get that butter out of my room!" Someone yelled.

"Fiiinnne. MAD MAX!" Sky yelled back.

"Heh. I'm a squirrel." Ross said.

"Ross! Gives mes backs mys phones!" Barney yelled.

"Nuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu! I wanna talk to Aphmau!" Ross said.

There was a giant thump on the other end of the call.

"Hey Aphmau! It's me, Jin! I'll go ahead and end the call. You must be tired after moving by yourself. I hope you get settled into your new house and school! We all miss ya already! Bye!" Jin said and ended the call.

I put my phone back in the dresser and dragged myself across the floor back to my bed.

The next morning...

Ughhhh.. the first day at my new school. I get out of bed groggily and get ready.
