--Luke's POV--

"... And i hope you will be able to fit into this school's pace just fine."

"Yes, thank you." I closed the door behind me as I walked out of the principal's office. It's hot outside, so i loosen my tie. "Where was I supposed to go again? Better not miss the first lesson on my first day." I took out a crumpled piece of paper out from my pocket.

" Class 1C, huh..."

" Students, as you all might have heard, we have a new transfer student. I will ask him to introduce himself-- " I stepped up.

"Uhhhh. My name is Luke hunter, and I-" I stopped mid-sentence when I noticed a girl that looked exactly like Sophie, the girl I saved yesterday. I tried to get eye-contact with her, but she looked completely uninterested and was looking out of the window.

Found ya.

"-came from Japan. I look forward to working with all of you." Then I bowed slightly and waited for the teacher to assign me my seat.

Lady luck, the seat next to Sophie is open.

"So then, Luke, you shall sit next to... ah! Next to Sophie, at the far end of the classroom, next to the window."

I walked over to my seat. There were a couple of squeals when I walked past some girls, but I ignored it and sat down.

"Alright, class, it's homeroom now. Settle down." The teacher clapped her hands and spoke.

"Be sure to treat Luke nicely." Then she smiled devilishly.

--Sophie's POV--

I just stared out of the window, completely uninterested. Since this morning, the girls around the school has been talking about a new transfer student, who is a 'hottie'.

But my mind was filled with thoughts of yesterday, where I had hugged the guy that saved me from the river.

I shouldn't have done that!!!!!

I ruffled my hair crazily.

Then I stopped halfway, when I heard someone next to me stifling his laughter.

Crap, I'm still in class!

Then I realized a more disturbing fact. When was someone sitting next to me?

I turned my head abruptly, to see an unfamiliar guy sitting next to me.

He was just sitting there, smiling at me. Blond hair that fell down to his eyes, a very defined jaw line and a very cool smile.

"Remind me to get you a hair brush." He chuckled.

A deep and familiar voice...

I shook my head to snap out of it.

"Who are you?" I whispered, voice full of irritation.

"I knew it. You didn't even notice the introduction, did you?"

"What introduction?"

"I'm the new transfer student."

"Wha-"

"Well, I look forward to working with you." He grinned, then lay his head on his arms.

He's... sleeping?!
