--Luke's POV--
"Hey," She grumbled irritably.
"Since just now you have been staring at me with those weird eyes and smiling creepily. Will you stop it?"
I was walking Sophie home when she suddenly decided to stop and confront me.
"I wasn't doing anything of anything," I denied, still smiling at her.
We arrived at a small and rundown shop. The door was on its hinges; it seemed as if one push would send it crashing down on the floor.
"Don't judge by it's appearance. This shop sells almost every medicine out there and has one of the best doctors I know." Sophie said, pushing the door open.
I followed her in. True enough, Shelves of medicine lined the walls, and the smell of medicine was so strong it could wake someone from the dead. Finding comfort in the warmth of the shop, I sat down on a roller chair and started rolling around the shop before Sophie came over and whacked my head.
"Are you a primary school kid?!" She hissed.
The door creaked open, and a unshaved man who was in his 60s popped his head out.
"Oh, we have customers--- Isn't it Sophie?" He broke into a huge grin, before looking at me. "With a guy?!"
He ran out almost shrieking with joy, then dragged another woman who I assumed was his wife in.
"LOOK DARLING, IT'S THE FIRST TIME SOPHIE BROUGHT A GUY BACK!!!!"
The air around him seemed to sparkle with his own excitement.
The woman just smiled pleasantly at the both of us.
"I'm back!" Sophie said enthusiastically to the woman.
"Welcome back, Sophie." She gave Sophie a bear hug and went further into the shop.
"Come find me later and tell me all about your day!"
"SO TELL ME ABOUT THAT HUNK THERE!~" He was just like a man with a high school girl's soul. Sophie glared at him, and he immediately toned down and said, "Sorry."
Then he cleared his throat and spoke with professionalism.
"So what's going on?"
"I'll explain the details later. For now, please help Luke's eye."
He squinted at me, then seemed to flinch a little.
"What the hell did you do? Come back here," He ushered me into a door. Sophie tried to follow us before the man had stopped her.
"Uh uh, young lady. Man to man bonding time."
I took off my shirt and sat on a cold metal table. The man had his back facing me preparing the items he needed.
"I'm Drew," He said, his 'professional' face still on.
"Hunter... Luke Hunter."
He came over, holding a metal tray full of bandages, ointment, cream and peered into my eye. Then he patted my shoulder lightly.
"No worries. It didn't cut that deep."
Not that I was very worried.
"How many people did you fight to get these?" He asked, referring to my injuries.
"About 10," I lied.
"It's about as bad as it looks, but you survived with only these? Lucky devil."
