--Sophie's POV--

"Mm. Good idea." I agreed, nodding my head. "Then our target audience is..."

Now, if there's one thing I learned, Luke Hunter is... just pure randomness. The first thing you expect him to do is to disturb the crap out of you but instead he pulls out the project you guys have been working on as if you had agreed beforehand to meet up and do it. It's not as if I'm complaining though, it's better than him doing anything else.

He scribbled the idea down on a piece of paper and leaned back in his chair, sighing audibly. I mirrored his actions, deciding to take a break. Sipping one of the milk coffees Luke had offered me just now, I pondered about why he had came in unannounced just to... do our project?

That's really not likely. And, this milk coffee is pretty good.

"You really didn't come here just to do the project, right?" I said doubtfully, watching his calm and collected self for any reactions. But his eyes just met mine coolly, as he smirked, "What if I did?"

I knew there was no point in asking him. I looked around the cafe, spotting my manager Darvy and the three other waitresses watching me closely, giving me suggestive winks. I rolled my eyes back at them, mouthing a 'go away'.

I turned my attention back to the project on hand and wrote down the various possiblities.

"You know, you could have just arranged to meet somewhere. Why pay for it?"

"Because I think you'll look good while working?"

I almost punched him. "Hahaha, please don't praise me like that. It is disgusting."

He let out a chuckle, grinning. "Alright. How long have you been working here?"

"Not long. Today's my first day."

His eyes darted around wildly for a second, before his gaze met mine. "That would be true. With your barbaric personality, there's no way customers would still be here."

I smiled back at him, raising a fist. "With customers like you, I definitely would quit within a heartbeat."

He didn't say a word to that , but the corners of his eyes had wrinkled and his lips had turned up into a charming smile. And then somehow, I started to smile genuinely, and we both laughed, making our table look like the gathering place for idiots.

And then with the next hour, we spent our time talking strictly about just the project, and we were almost finished with it. Which meant that... we would have free time for the rest of the term.

I grinned a silly grin to myself. "This project is surprisingly easy..." And then looked up at Luke for his agreement. But his attention was somewhere else, eyes narrowing in distaste, almost grinding his teeth in fury.

I followed his gaze towards the other end of the café, at an isolated table at a corner, and gasped in disgust. A dishellved man had his hands roaming all over another waitress as she just tried in vain to remove his hands off her. Her expression was that of fear, while his was that matching a perverts', and I clenched my fist, ready to beat the crap out of that guy.

But we had specific orders not to do so. To ignore it and continue working. All of us had protested, all but the waitress that was currently being felt. She had such a calm look on her face, it was as if Darvy hadn't told us to just watch her get molested. But Darvy had such a persistent look in her eyes, and most of us were convinced that she had a plan.

So why isn't the plan being carried out now?

I hadn't noticed I had gripped the hands of the chair til' my knuckles were white. And I also didn't notice Luke storming over to the old pervert, until I heard a loud 'clang' when the chair was thrown backwards and had scattered along the floor, spinning. He threw a hand out in front of her and spat,
