This week was my family's vacation that we always take to the lake. It was me, my mom, dad, grandma and grandpa, and my two sisters and their boyfriends. And this year was Hayes first year coming with us. "Hayes do you have everything?" I asked him as he packed. Him and I were in California and I finished packing but Hayes will always forget something. "Yes I have everything." He said and leaned down on the bed to kiss me. "Come on we'll be late for our flight." He said and grabbed his bag while I got mine. We were flying to an airport that was an hour away from the lake. My mom was picking us up.

We walked off the plane and I immediately saw my mom standing there with a huge smile on her face. I haven't seen her in weeks. I gave her the biggest hug. "Hi Mrs.y/l/n." Hayes said. "Oh call me Amy Hayes I missed you both." My mom smiled. "Alright let's go do we can go boating today." My mom smiled. It was almost noon.

"Guys were home!" My mom yelled. My sisters came running to me and gave me a big hug. My dad came and gave me a hug and a kiss. He then shook Hayes hand. "Nice to see you sir." Hayes said to my dad. "Oh call me john." My dad chuckled. Hayes just nodded. "We're gonna put our bags upstairs and meet you at the docks." I told my mom. "Alright." she said.
"Which one?" Hayes asked holding up two pairs of swim trunks. "Red ones." I said. He nodded and left to change.

"Y/n grab the rope." My dad said. I nodded and untied the boat from the dock. "Alright everyone sit." My dad laughed. I sat next to Hayes who put his arm around me. "So y/n." My grandma said. "Ya?" I asked her. "I don't see no ring on that finger." She said. "Grandma were still 17." I said embarrassed. "Your sisters are married." She said. "There 26 and 29." I laughed. "Sorry." I whispered to hayes. "Don't be it's alright." He laughed. I nodded. "Beer for you and you." My dad said handing me and Hayes a beer. My dad would let me drink no more then 2 cans of beer a day. It's not even that good tasting to me but it was fine to drink. "Your dad lets you?" Hayes asked. I nodded. "No more then 2." I said. Hayes looked surprise. "You don't have to drink it I'm sorry." I said. "No no I will." Hayes said grabbing my hand. "Hayes come here." My older sister, mandy, her boyfriend said. Mandy was my oldest sister and her boyfriends name was Ryan and then my other sisters name was grace and her boyfriends name was Brock. Hayes got up and went to sit next to them. My mom and sisters were having some talk about cloths or whatever. I didn't like shopping so I stayed out of the conversation. "How's my little baby." My dad joked sitting next to me. "I'm good." I laughed. "Listen so I was thinking. When you get old enough would you like to take the boat?" My dad asked. "Really?" I smiled. "Ya your sisters don't want it as mush as you do and Hayes and your guys friends seem to love boating. So why not?" My dad smiled. "Thank you." I said and hugged him. "I'd say in a few years it will be all yours." He said. I smiled big. "Alright who wants to go tubing?" My dad asked. Mandy and grace went. "Y/n you wanna go?" My dad asked. "Nah not right now." I sighed. I was just really tired. Hayes sat down next to me. I was leaning forward with my arms rested on the boat. Hayes pulled me into his bare chest. "What's wrong baby?" He asked. "Nothin I'm just tired." I said looking up at him. "Do you want to go in. I'll go in with you. It's ok." Hayes said. I just nodded. "Hey John could you take y/n and I in?" I heard Hayes ask. "Ya sure. You alright y/n?" My dad asked. I just nodded. "I'm gonna go in to." I heard my mom. "Dad can we still tube?" I heard grace asked. "Yup." My dad said.

"Honey." My mom said coming into my room. Hayes went to go change in the bathroom down the hall. "Yes?" I asked her. "I think I know what's wrong with you." My mom said. "And what would that be?" I asked her. "Your stressed from work." She said. I sighed. "There's just so much that has to be done." I said. "You need a break. Take a nap with Hayes." She said and left. Hayes came in.  "Can we just lay together?" I asked him. "Ya baby." He smiled. "I'm sorry this is how our first day here is." I said as he wrapped his arm around me. "It was fun being out on the boat with you and the boys. And it's definitely still fun just laying here with you." He said and kissed my head. "Thank you." I said. "Your welcome baby." Hayes smiled.
