It's 10 at night. Lacrosse conditioning just got over and so did the boys lacrosse conditioning. We had a meeting for the season then conditioning. It's winter and there is a high chance of a SNOWDAY tomorrow. There was already snow and ice everywhere. I grabbed my bag and gear following my friends out the gym doors along with other boys and girls. No one was at the school besides us not even janitors. That's how Late it was. I stood there txt my mom telling her I'd be home soon. Then all of the sudden the lights went out. Everyone screamed. "Y/n." I heard Dany my friend call. She is a girl on my team. "I'm right here." I sis stunting my phone light on. Along with other people. "Alright everyone calm down." My coach started. "I don't know when the power will be back on but I know there is blankets in the office so I will go get some please stay here and don't leave this area." My coach yelled to all of us. I looked over to see Hayes , my crush, standing there looking at me and smiled then turned to his friends. He's a senior I'm a freshmen so I don't have a chance with him but he's nice and really cute...And single.

It's been about 5 minutes and coach came back with blankets. People started to walk over there grabbing one for them. I just waited my turn.
"Here." I heard a voice behind me say. I turned to see hayes standing there with a blanket. "Thank you." I smiled and took the blanket. "Hey you two talk in gonna go get a water bottle." Dany said. "Um would you like to sit?" I asked. "Uh ya sure." He smiled back. We both sat down with our backs against the wall with the blanket he got me over both of us. We sat there in comfortable silence while our coaches were talking to us about what we're gonna do. Pretty much we're gonna wait a little longer and see if the power comes back on. We can't just leave because we have to turn the lights off before we leave but we can't now cause the power is broke and all. I started to get tired. Other people where sleeping too. I yawned. "You can lay your head on my shoulder if your tired." Hayes said. I looked at him and smiled getting comfortable and laid down with him. I started to drift off.

"Y/n. Y/n." I heard. I opened my eyes to see the power has come back on a little it's just very dim. Other people where standing up and talking quietly but just about everyone was asleep. "What time is it?" I asked. "1am but if you want we can go home." He said. "Some people like the captains and all are staying but I was awake and they said we could leave." He said. I saw that maybe 2 people have left. "Ya sure." I said getting up. I woke up Danny and some of my other friends. "Hey we can go home lets go." I said. Hayes woke up his friends too. We got our stuff and headed to our cars. I sat in my car and Hayes  came and got in. "I need to tell you something." He started. "I like you a lot and I was wondering if you would like to be my girlfriend?" He asked. "I'd love you." I smiled. He leaned in to kiss me. "I have to get home but I'll see you later." He smiled getting out of my car walking to his. I just nodded and smile big once he left.
