Me and nate, my boyfriend, and sammy, and swazz, were sitting outside while dylan, my 3 almost 4 year old brother ran around. My parents were abusive to him and i already moved out here to California so i took him with me and now am his legal guardian. He was only like 2 when i took him so he calls me mom sometimes because he doesn't remember our mom. "Look mommy!" Dylan yelled running up to me. "What is it?" I asked him. "Mud pie." He said with a handful of mud in his hands. "I bet it taste amazing because you made it." I said looking down at him. "Really?" He asked all exited. "Ya!" I said. "Im going to make more." He said and put the handful of mud next to me and ran off to get more mud. "You guys are so cute." Sammy said. "Thank you." I said smiling. "Ahh!" We heard a scream. I looked up and saw dylan on the ground. "Dylan!" I yelled and got up and ran to him with nate and sammy. Nate got to him first and picked him up and brought him inside and set him on the counter while he cried. "It hurts!" He cried referring to his scraped knees from falling on the pavement. "I know but were going to clean you up and it will be ok." I said kissing his forehead while nate went to go get paper towel and bandages, just stuff to clean and cover this up. "Here ill do it." Nate said coming down with the stuff in his hands. I moved and held dylan hand while he sniffled, he wasnt crying as much. Nate put this liquid on paper towel and put it to Dylan's knee. Dylan started to scream and cry again, i saw that nate put alcohol on his knee. (I dont know what its called).
Finally Nate finished and kissed dylans cuts. "Your brave you know that." Nate said picking up dylan. "Really?" Dylan said weakly wiping his eyes from tears. "Ya i got hurt one time on my torso and hand you dealt with the pain better then i did." He said. "Im brave." Dylan said all confident. "Ya you still want to make mud pies?" Nate asked him. "Ya will you help?" Dylan asked nate and sammy and swazz. "Ya we can." Sammy said. We went outside again and the boys and dylan went to wear dylan was earlier making mud pies. "Mommy look!" Dylan said happy. "I see." "Give yours to mommy." Dylan said to nate. "Ok" nate came to me with dylan following. "Here" nate said smirking. "Why are.." I was cut of by nate throwing the mud at me. "Its on" i yelled. I got up and everyone started throwing mud at each other. "Sammy come here." I said to sammy as swazz dylan and nate were throwing mud. "Lets gang up on nate" i said. "K" we both got a bunch of mud and ran up to nate and dumped it all on him. "Payback!" I yelled. Nate was covered head to toe in mud from sammy and i. "Oh come give me a hug." Nate said walking toward me and sammy. "No!" I screamed while dylan and swazz laughed while sammy and i ran away from nate. Nate started to catch up to us so i grabbed sammys arm and pulled him in front of me. Nate ended up hugging sammy and barley me. "Y/n!" Sammy yelled. "I couldn't get more muddy!" I laughed. I felt water being sprayed on us and turned and saw swazz and dylan spraying water at us. "Ok ok i give up." I laughed and sat down on the ground. We all got tired and sat down in the grass. "Your knees ok?" I asked Dylan. "Ya" he said climbing onto my lap. He laid his head on my shoulder and started to fall asleep. "Baby you got to have a bath before you go to sleep." I said to dylan. "Ok" he said sleepily. We all walked inside we had most of the dirt off so i got in the shower quickly and washed up and got out and got dressed. "K dylan come on." I yelled out to Dylan. He came running up the stairs and came i to the bathroom. After we all got showered and ate dinner, i put dylan to bed. "Night baby." I said to dylan. "Night." He said sleepily. I walked downstairs to see sammy, swazz and nate sitting there talking. "You and your brother are so cute." Sammy said. "Thank you." I said. "I got to go so bye guys." Sammy said. "Bye." We said, he bro hugged skate and swazz and hugged me. "Im tired, night." I said. "Night baby girl." Nate said kissing me. "Oh and nate you would make a really good dad when your older." I said to nate. "Thank you." Nate said chuckling. "Hey what about me?" Swazz whined and laughed. "Ya i guess you to.. "i laughed. "Oh so funny." Swazz said getting up and hugging me "night." He said. "Night swazz and nate." I said and went upstairs to go to bed.
