I rushed to the window and was shocked beyond belief. Everything was darkness. Every light was out. It looked so wrong, for the city of lights to be pitch black. I jumped at the sound of the elevator opening. Agents quickly ran in.

"Where are you?! Show yourself!" they yelled. I swiftly ducked behind the sofa and held my breathe. I looked around the corner and couldn't see a thing. My hands glowed with blue energy.

"Woah."

"Hey! Other there!" I heard footsteps come in my direction, so I stood. Why would you do that?!

"Fire!" Bullets split through the air and I covered my face. A large barrier covered my body. It's a force field! Soon the bullets bounced off of the force field and I charged forward. With a wave of my arm, agents flew across the room. I was so in shock that I didn't see an agent go for his gun. A piercing sensation came over my leg.

"Ah! You!" I aimed my arm to the agent and blasted him with enough energy to knock him unconscious but not enough to kill him. Mistakenly I lowered my guard down for a second, and all of the sudden an agent came full force running at me. She tackled me to the floor as she tried to pin my arms down. I flipped us over and she kicked me over her and into the window. We both quickly got to our feet and stopped. We made eye contact through the darkest. I lunged forward and swung left. She ducked and struck at my side, and I kneed her in the chest. She fell back and I approached her.

"What are you?" she asked.

"None of your concern."

"Oh, I think it is." She punched me back and did a spin kick flip. She hit me in the stomach, but the window didn't stop me. Hundreds of feet up, I began to free fall. I screamed for someone to help, but I knew this was it.I closed my eyes and waited for the hit. All of the sudden, it all stopped. I knew it. I was dead. I never said goodbye to my Da-

"I got you." That voice. I opened my eyes and saw a red and gold, iron suit.

"Dad!" He flew us onto the jet pad on the roof.

"Oh my God! What were you doing? Falling from a hundred foot drop was not something I thought I had to tell you not to do."

"I'm so glad you're here. Thank you." His masked opened to reveal his face. I stepped back and his entire suit opened and he walked out. He pulled me into tight hug.

"I could have lost you."

"Wouldn't be the first time." He looked at me with a serious look.

"I'm serious. I can't lose you."

"I'm not ready to be lost." He chuckled.

"You are my child. What happened to your leg?!"

"A stray bullet." He eyed me suspiciously.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, some agents came in and someone accidentally fired their gun."

"So how did you fall out of the window?"

"The guy was so worried that he over to me. I got scared and someone knocked me into the window."

"Well one, we need better windows, and two, I'll have then all fired."

"Tony, what happened?" I heard Steve's voice through his ear piece.

"I got her. She's fine," Tony replied.

"Thank goodness. Fury said that the power should be up and running any second." Just then, it was little a hundred fireworks went off. All of the lights to the tower and surrounding buildings light up like a million fireflies.
