holy shit, a real update. What the bloody hell is that?

"I think you should."

"Mm, maybe later, doll." Enoch says into my ear, nibbling a little on the lobe. I bite my lip and let out a huff.

"Alright then." I say to him. I pull away from him and head out, not being able to bare the sight of all off his dolls/homunculi/whatever the fuck they are.

I make my way back to the dining room and take my seat and slowly everyone else takes theirs. The food is brought out, it behind pancakes eggs and sausage, with some maple syrup as well. I grab a few pancakes and eggs and snatch up the syrup before anyone else can. I drizzle a little... okay a lot of syrup on everything (if you've never tried syrup on eggs, you need to it's the bomb.. pun not intended). I dig in, my eyes watching the rest of the children as they eat. I feel syrup drip down my chin a little so I quickly catch it with my finger,  before licking it off.

"Miss Stein, watch your manners." Miss P says. My face heats up a little and I nod. Enoch shifts in his seat and I wink at him, biting my bottom lip a little. I see him gulp and turn my attention to Olive. She bites her lip, looking at Enoch, just as I did before. I furrow my eyebrows and continue eating.

"Enoch, would you like to go into town with me today?" Olive asks him after a few minutes of silence. I smirk slightly as everyone looks in our direction.

"Can't." He answers simply.

Olive slightly frowns, and for a second I feel sort of bad for her. Only for a second.

I sit at the piano and play a little tune. I hum a tune.

"'Cause nobody seems to ask about me anymore,
Nobody seems to care about anything I think,
Nobody seems to recognize-"

"You can sing?" Someone asks from behind me. I turn around to see Edgar smirking slightly. I stand up and face him completely.

"Don't try anything." I warn him.

"Relax, I won't." He says hands up in surrender. "Didn't know you had a man already."

"That still doesn't make it okay."

"I know, I don't know what I was thinking alright? I'm sorry." He says. I clench my jaw and cross my arms. "Fine, stay mad at me. I don't care." He says and walks off.

I turn back to the piano and hit a single key. I tap my foot slightly I decide to go to my room and study.

I huff and flip the page in my dad's journal.

Humans are up to 60% percent water. The brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs about 83%.

Theory: we might be able to control humans.

I laugh a bit but continue reading.

Trial one (the sheep): trail seems to be unsuccessful, the sheep did not seem to change. Enoch ended up killing it and taking its heart.

Trial two: unsuccessful.

Trial three: sheep showed little signs of being manipulated.

Trail four: unsuccessful.

Trial five: absolutely successful, sheep moved ten paces under my control before I got weak and collapsed.

I sit up from the position on my bed and read over that sentence ten more times.

"Enoch!" I shout, hoping he can hear me. I hear heavy footsteps and my door swings open. Enoch busts in with a worried expression on his face. Once he realizes there isn't danger his face falls.

"Jesus Christ Vivian, I thought you were dying." He says and runs a hand through hair, even though it falls right back into its place. I smile sheepishly and motion for him to come in. He does and sits on the edge of my bed.

"The sheep trials, do you remember anything from them?" I ask and point at the journal.

"Kind of." He answers and shrugs. "Why?"

"I was thinking we could go and-"

"Vivian. It's too dangerous."

"But-"

"No."

At that I get oddly angry, a little too angry.

"You aren't my dad, nor my mother." I say angrily at him. He quirks an eyebrow and smirks a little.

"I beg to differ, if you recall the 'headache'." He snickers a little. My face gets hot and I bite my lip a little. He leans into my ear.

"Say it." He whispers, sending a chill down my spine. I gulp as he kisses down my neck.

"Sorry, sir." I whisper, my voice wavering a little. He bites my neck a little.

"Wrong answer." He says lowly and kitten licks my sweet spot.

"Sorry... daddy." I squeak out.

"Enoch?" A voice comes from the door and he immediately backs away from me. Our head snaps to the door, that we foolishly left open to see Olive, mouth wide open and cheeks bright red.

Well shit.

"Olive this isn't what it looks like." Enoch says and she looks back at me.

"I knew it." Olive whispers and walks of rather quickly.

"Wait!" I sprint towards her and grab her arm.

"I'll do anything, don't tell Miss P... this is the only family I've ever had and I-"

"Anything?" She asks and quirks an eyebrow.

"Yes, please." I say.

"I have a few things in mind."
