3rd P.O.V

Sam and Ellie were at a pay phone outside a restaurant. They were trying to find anything they could on John. After discussing, Sam raised his head and shook it while looking at Ellie. She pursued her lips.

"Alright, thank you for your time." Sam said and hung up.

"Nothing?" Ellie asked.

Sam sighed in response. The two then walked back to Dean.

"Your, uh, half-caf, double vanilla latte is gettin' cold over here, Francis." Dean teased.

"Bite me." Sam replied.

"So, anything?" Dean asked.

"I had 'em check the FBI's Missing Persons Data Bank." Sam explained. "No John Doe's fitting Dad's description. I even ran his plates for traffic violations."

"Sam, I'm tellin' ya, I don't think Dad wants to be found." Dean said, staring at his little brother intently. He then pushed the computer so that Sam and Ellie could see. "Check this out. It's a news item out of Planes Courier. Ankeny, Iowa. It's only about a hundred miles from here."

"The mutilated body was found near the victim's car, parked on 9 Mile Road." Ellie read off of the page and looked at Dean, unsure.

"Keep reading." He only said.

"Authorities are unable to provide a realistic description of the killer. The sole eyewitness, whose name has been withheld, is quoted as saying the attacker was invisible."

"Could be something interesting."

"Or it could be nothing at all." Sam said. "One freaked out witness who didn't see anything? Doesn't mean it's the Invisible Man."

"But what if it is?" Dean asked back. "Dad would check it out."

Sam sighed but looked at Ellie. She shrugged.

"I mean, we've taken cases on less." She stated.

They road all the way to Ankemy, Iowa. Then they searched the house they had to go to. The victim's house. Sam still wasn't sure about all of this. They ended up in front of a sorority.

"One more time, why are we here?" Sam asked.

"Victim lived here." Dean simply replied. They walked over to some guys who seemed to be fixing up a car. "Nice wheels. We're your fraternity brothers. From Ohio. We're new in town. Transfers. Looking for a place to stay."

They guys looked at them and then their eyes drifted to Ellie.

"And her?" One of the guys asked.
